The USA is interested in LCA? Really?

I think for an advance trainer program they are running. But we are not going to win based on few requirements failure like having an US partner in the program. The winner is most likely be SAAB-Boeing product.

DRDO anti-torpedo torpedo

It's not exactly anti-torpedo torpedo like atlas elektronik seaspider which homes into the torpedo.
The design is similiar to Rafael Torbuster which is basically a hard kill decoy, it lures the torpedo close enough while remaining still itself and then detonates when enemy torp is near. Advantage of such a design is launch from current mareech launchers, whereas a proper anti-torp torpedo would require new launchers.

I don't think DRDO has any ongoing anti-torp torpedo project, only a hard kill decoy called Mohanastra.

Keep an eye for this it might become a huge business for private sector. Reliance was targetting this before pipapav. But they fucked up with pipapav .

You'd be surprised. The forces are not what they were pre 2017. Things have changed drastically.
