SAMHO too uses the same missile+pusher configuration.


You could clearly see the pusher falling off after firing.

Regarding length, Invar-M is 680mm compared to 1000mm of SAMHO. Now rather then length, it would be the mass of 125mm SAMHO which would be more of a concern. Increasing the diameter by keeping the length intact would mean increase in mass which right now is 1.3kg more then Invar. So the most logical step would be to bring down the length.

From 100mm length to 680mm. At that point wouldn't it be a new missile altogether. I am pretty sure the design is based on LAHAT.

Well I don't have problem if our light tank is used as mobile firepower support platform but if you are thinking of tackling proper tanks with a light tank and 105mm cannon at that, I am sure many would find that unfortunate.

AFAIK extendible nozzle (submerged nozzle with actuation for increasing length) already in use since long

Can be used as

turret for ifvs and other targets

4-8 ATGM launchers integrated for tanks

though it would be better to have a bigger gun.

I wonder if DRDO managed to develop the EMP device they were developing

Almost all components were ready as far as i know sometime back

Though easier said than done , given it will have to go through a series of ground based tests at the new EMP test facility
