Why cant private firms make ammo? it much simpler than making Artillery guns and other advanced equipment. Initial capex is also low

the confidentiality my ass, if they so much cared about confidentiality they wont publish the type of radar antinea, fpg unit they build for military psu more importantly the product they build for drdo, think with logic if MOD find out that radar production can be out sourced to private entity which is cheaper and more faster results which one MOD choose white elephant DRDO who fkup all projects or private firm only focused on radar and auxiliary equipment production, mark my words AESA production will soon given to atstra ( if drdo it self wont sabotage the project to save their complex ego )

ATHOS is made by a company which has a history of making one of the best products, is also cheaper (by the cost estimation from the Print Article) + We dont really have a decent history with Indian made systems which were inducted except a few which got orders in high numbers. There have been incidence where they have gone nuts but you guys live in your world.

SIEEEER neither am expert or annalist but removing a open tweet about devilry of uttam mk2 is so called pure BS nothing more, even in def expo they even told exact number of trm modules present in radar, so in your opinion tweet about delivery from one component from production partner is more classified than number of accurate TRM modules and its design ?

They are doing better , damn it !!!
Its fault of the army that , they didn't conduct trials properly where they should have done so.
Otherwise their trials take years and years .
Ofb won't change its ammo manufacturing just because army purchased a new rifle which was not compitable with the Indian ammo.
Say , about cutting the corners.
