ITCM with the Manik turbofan engine has been tested twice. Also, the ITCM range is 1500km due to the higher efficiency of the turbofan engine compared to turbojet Russian engine.
36mt is turbojetNPO Saturn mt36 is also a Turbofan engine.
My knowledge is from the attached presentation.36mt is turbojet
Maybe there is a turbofan variant too ,but kh 59 uses this particular engine and it was turbojet for most time , new model has turbofan , maybe that's the turbofan variant of 36 mtMy knowledge is from the attached presentation.

Why is Indian government only spending 2% of GDP on defence in such perilious situation ? They can put some additional cess or sales tax for defence for 5-10 years and spend at least 3% . That additional 1% will go completely towards R&D and weapon acquisition. Speed is crucial at this juncture, and we are still going about our old ways.

Atleast a test bed is under construction for SCE-200 ,but for Kaveri we have no flying testbedBoth dry kaveri and SC 200 will get delayed only due to lack of infrastructure facilities. We are paying for our neglect.
I thought we were going to modify a mig 29 or something for it?Atleast a test bed is under construction for SCE-200 ,but for Kaveri we have no flying testbed

Rightly said public can give 1% cess for RnD.Why is Indian government only spending 2% of GDP on defence in such perilious situation ? I call bullshit on that. Doesn't make any sense at all. There has the be explicit requirement in enough numbers to warrant anything. Last time I checked, army has not put any wheeled apc/ifv requirement.
