AFAIK there is no plan for next-gen WVR, we will be using Python-5 or ASRAAM as our WVR in the future.

We will have our own couple of WVRAAMs. For our Stealth Fighter Drones. Making an infrared guided missile is one thing, it's the target discrimination capability of IR Seeker missile that's needs to be mastered.
