hmmmmmmmmmmmm

India may not test it's FoBs anytime soon
Listen to this interview by Agni missile scientist.

Maybe in future if tension with American escalates then we might see these tests. But at present we don't need unwanted attention of Americans by bringing them under our nuclear strike range.

a Simplified Model since the air intake design which has been certified is not the main purpose for some wind tunnel tests ... during the R&D phase of an airplane project, there should be loads of models of many kinds for the tests in different wind tunnels. the test time might be over tens of thousands hours.

the 'only one'? ....do more readings ....lol

But if you fill the air intake cavity- you are not simulating "real-world" conditions at all, are you? How true is that F-16 model going to be even if say it is to test drop tanks only? Air will bounce off differently from the intake and interact differently with the drop tanks- is that whole wind tunnel experiment worth it?
