Guys I always wondered, with all the instruments/sensors poking out of the tank, how well built are these.... I mean can a shock wave from balst nearby or misshit take them out?

Honestly I feel this sort of placement as depicted on their website for the same thing might be better than a mast mounted one, even veterans on Twitter had pointed out the problems associated with the mast mount like getting caught with vegetation and prone to other types damage.
Even Tonbo mounted their See through armour solution on a mast despite them showing it mounted the same way as in the Ajna lens picture on their promotional material, so it might be a requirement to mount it that way.

Hopefully this set up is for initial testing only, the individual sensor look small and well built may be they will distribute them around the hull later. But mast does give better visibility though, look further. At least they can have a retractable mast...

Tonbo’s Wolfpack Solution which they’ve pitched for the See Through Armour IDEX Challenge is already in service with the Indian Navy on Kolkata Class Destroyers, so they’ve definitely undergone rigorous testing, it’s only the mast mounting system that creates some doubts and possible issues.

Well, your drones won't work in the Himalayas if you don't hire some abduls and use them for publicity.
their benchmark is DJI, DJI spends millions in market research, and i have never come across DJI ad resorting to virtue signalling because their market research must have told them they don't need virtue signalling angle in their vertical, it is as simple as that.

It actually feels like one of their lead engineers is a devout muslim or is observing Ramzan or something, maybe that's why it seems like virtue signalling. Never saw someone project religion in such tech oriended space.

But 200kgs for 40km would be a massive progress over the Raphe mPhibr drones that IA currently uses.

Attended a webinar based on gas turbine engine development in India, based on that I'm listing few presentations

•We have developed& both scb(single crystal blade) and titanium compressor disk.

In house design methods developed and validated
There are some key gaps which need to be fulfilled and where investments have been made.

Since 80s we have come very far when it comes to aero engine components,we now have designed, developed and manufactured aero engine components which are required for 4th gen aero engine but to raise standards to even upto 5th gen some key gaps need to be addressed which they're working on.

•Test bed
20220129_130452.jpg

Sad to say but we still do not have the high altitude testbed for testing engines we need 2 years to just sign contract and paper stuff for altitude tests to a foreign country which increases the development time.

•Kaveri problems
20220129_130941.jpg

These were the problems kaveri engine faced during its development time, but good news is all of these problems have been successfully solved which boosts our confidence.

Throttle handling of kaveri at any position has been successfully demonstrated in dry kaveri it's a good success.
They're targeting more by eventually going a generation ahead with materials and other stuff, eventually increase thrust by weight which depends on higher TET like 1900K or so.
Good news is
28 acres of land is sanctioned for setting up tesbed of higher class engine like that of AMCA and even 120kn,once contract is signed it will take 3-4 years to be commissioned and be operational.
Regarding altitude test facility it needs about 60-70 acres of land with huge power like 90Mega watt gtre tried to to acquire land in telangana but plans did not go well.

Now initially I think they will go for component level for amca engine then partner up with foreign countries for mission based.

I am not well and the webinar has happened for two days on 28,29(today)
28 one was 8 hour long and 29 is ongoing(god knows how much)
So it's impossible to collect and put the information here so I'm giving links there's actually damn good info out there

So primary thrust and technological objectives have been outlined , design seems to be in work
