Even a blind man can see what's going on here.

HAL is literally begging the army for LCH orders while drdo is pulling their hair after an other year of useless trials.

Instead the army is moaning and bitching about their inability to face foreign orders.

Place some orders for Garuda 105mm artillery along with ATAGS and LCH but no these people are corrupt to the core.

Question to the experts and exfarts on the forum-
How good is Athos artillery system? To me, it looked very complicated with too many mechanised parts and exposed harness. Autoloading rate also was not that great in the promotional video they have put up on YouTube. What are its advantages over other systems? Or is it just some Goldstein the jernails want to clap in Yerushalem?
Saar everyone knows Athos is like a Thanos but once you get in touch Chandigarh Lobby it will start looking like a Pamela Anderson thats the power of Phoren maal and Gaaal...

Would like to share some info.
On searching, found that Pakistan's Gwadar Post is approximately 625 km away from the Sir Creek border line separating Indian Gujarat and Sind. This means that the entire coastline of Pakistan including its major ports Karachi and Gwadar are within the reach of our recently added 800 km ranged Bhramos.
So our naval ships need not even step out of harbour and if most Pakistani naval vessels remain very close to the shores (in the 1971 war Pakistan Navy ships were scared to even venture out into the open seas fearing the capability of our strong Navy), then by simply letting loose barrages of Bhramos missiles from close to the India - Pakistan border, a majority of the Pakistan Navy can be sunk.

In case some ships of the PN dare to venture out into the high seas, our Su 30mki planes armed with the Bhramos NG can track them and take them out at ranges in excess of 200 km. No Pakistan Navy ship has a SAM system capable of taking on aircraft even 100 km away let alone engaging aircraft at 200 km ranges. Unmanned drones like the Sea Guardian with long endurance and capable of flying at high altitudes can provide the coordinates(guidance data) of the targets.

The undersea submarine force of the PN are the only naval assets most likely to survive (if they are lucky).

This scenario is based on the fact that the Bhramos missiles are very difficult to intercept by ship or shore based air defence systems and an saturation attack involving scores of missiles will overwhelm the PN defences. Even if a few are intercepted, the rest of the salvo will complete the task.

It's great ,but what if in response Pakistan launches it's 150 nuclear missiles against India.
With 100 more as decoys.
Do we have the capacity to intercept all of them.

And even if we intercept them, mid-air before they reach their terminal phase the amount of radio active material that may be released into the atmosphere above Punjab , Rajasthan , Gujarat could make the next 10 generation of Indians crippled.

May be BLA & TTP are the only real solutions for Pakistan. Or if we could sabotage the communication system of their ASFC & subjugate Pakistan in 1 night (very outlandish) but still it's too risky.

they will be idiot of highest order to launch all of their nukes at us and for ur info a ballastic missile is more expensive than ur fighter jet sometimes, and if they will launch 150 nukes , we must be sipping bat soup to be so lazy to not even destroy their nuke site which are mostly silo launched

Well if we are going to break Pakistan a 2nd time after defeating them. Then they better use all their nukes at once or just wait for it to get captured or destroyed.

IDK I just hope your right.

Don't fall for the nuclear bogey.
Pakistan has used it far too often. Using it as an insurance policy to foment terrorism in India and kill thousands of innocent Indians over the last few decades.

We will be falling into their trap and emasculate ourselves into doubt and inaction.
A nation like Israel would have been wiped out long ago if they had not been strong in thought and action. Hopelessly outnumbered by its more numerous Arab Muslim neighbours.

An rhetorical question.
Why should only India be mortally scared of nukes.
How the hell will Pakistan be able to survive if even one low yield tactical nuke is used against India. The stated policy of the Government of India (irrespective of which party is in power) is that there will be massive retaliation with counter nukes if ever even one nuke is dropped on India.

Don't believe the figures for nukes quoted by international nuclear watchdogs.
That India has 150 nukes to Pakistan's 160 nukes. Total bullshit.
Our nuclear programme is far greater than what Pakistan has. Our inventory of Plutonium including weapons grade plutonium is many times the stock Pakistan has. Even as regards enriched uranium we have probably surpassed Pakistan. There has been an massive investment in new uranium enrichment facilities in India in recent years.

We probably have nuclear warheads in the hundreds or even a thousand.

So the blunt truth is that in case there is a nuclear exchange between India and Pakistan, the extent of destruction in Pakistan will be enormous and that country will cease to exist as an national entity. And Pakistan is a much smaller nation than India.

For all their jihadi rhetoric and bravado the generals in Islamabad know that if they initiate an nuclear war with India they can kiss good bye to their nation. They are not fools.

An attack where our troops have not yet crossed the border or nuked Islamabad should not trigger nuclear war if people in power in Pakistan remain sane. Else if in religious stupidly they decide to cross the rubicon nobody can help them from reaching the gateway to hell.

Not thousands , don't inflate , and 150 is enough , what matters is our warhead are miniaturised enough to go inside most of our missiles

This reminded me of an interview with DRDO Chief S Christopher soon after he retired. The international projection of India's nuclear warhead capacity is bogus. It's clear from his statement.
At par with whom thought China, US, Russia :hmm:

Even a 20 kiloton bomb of yield of little boy will be enough for pork to be reminded their limit.

We may have a warhead of size to fit inside brahmos , US had it in 1980s , we must have been able to develop it now atleast , but if we reveal it openly it would bring a unwanted attention to our Brahmos stock and any export of Brahmos .

On the other hand our forces are not even spending budget allocated to them.

Look at this :

Navy has spent 90% of capital outlay.:clap2:
Airforce has spent 70% of capital outlay. 😕
Army has spent only 40% of capital outlay. :mad2:

On top of that army "sources" are complaining that this is due to restriction on buying foreign equipment. :rage:
Since when spending a money has became a task? Seriously!! is United Nations generals and chiefs has become so much incompetent?

Such delay of payment only takes place when seller is Indian otherwise payment would have done years ago before the actual deal.

Our own generals and chiefs have became Bhasmasur.

Seriously now days I found nothing interesting in defence sector…. Just things flowing like a river till eternity.

If you are talking about a W-88/87 size warhead, it is almost impossible.
US got there by hundreds of actual tests, how many tests did India do after 1998?
In order to archive that size, the whole warhead structure need to be re-designed, the existing simulation formula doesn't work.

but if we reveal it openly it would bring a unwanted attention to our Brahmos stock and any export of Brahmos.
As a nuclear deterrence country, it will be stupid not to reveal it.

Part by part testing in controlled environment with simulation , this is the process of testing for most products where full scale testing and improvement in prototype phase is unfeasible , so they do component wise testing

No problem, bro.
Whatever figure we are comfortable with.
But we do have enough fissile material for hundreds of bombs.
Though not yet fully weaponised.
I trust most people would agree with this statement.

So theoretically we can scale up in an emergency situation.

And I have not even mentioned about our BMD capability. Though not fully mature or on par with the US or Russia. But nonetheless useful. Also we can scan 100% of the airspace of Pakistan. Our OTH and other radars like the Swordfish, Green Pine etc give us the capability. So any ballistic or even an cruise missile launch will be detected early. Maybe our BMD shield will be able to intercept more than 50% of the incoming missiles and warheads.

I am basically pointing out the asymmetry between the defence capabilities of India and Pakistan. We have a lot of people in India who regularly go ballistic on the dire threat from Pakistani nukes. The common refrain 'what if Pakistan uses nuclear weapons'. This scare mongering is used to scuttle any military action planned by India as response to a Pakistani provocation.

Anyway use of nuclear weapons should only be as a last resort. Everybody should try to avoid going down that path.
