What trishul could do with 130 kg weight ,can be done with 40 kg missile with IR seeker or passive guidance , base to develop such missile should be MANPADs we are developing

Do u know how does conformal antenna works , i mean if the radiating element is any of these aesa array ,so will they just cover it with a conductor sheet shaped to blend with surface or some different mechanism ?

Also, IIT M is working on a very crazy but very beneficial idea, Ramjet artillery shells.

Since arty is anyway going at a high speed, it can sustain a ramjet and double the range to 60 kms. And it will be a lot cheaper than , say, MBRL or something. Compatible with all 155 mm arty in indian inventory. Proof of concept done, now in detailed design phase.

1. It won't be cheaper.
2. It'll carry a smaller warhead.
3. This things only be used against special target not standard, just like GPS guided artillery.

Better spend money on improving accuracy of Guided Pinaka than on this.

Now even indonesia has also started developing their own Submarine but here we keep giving out RFI for imports.

Navy Submarine design Bureau is full of third class reserved chutiyas who even failed to design midget Submarine. Better fire them all and do fresh hiring of competent people.
