I wonder that, the missile we saw in an interview of drdo, which was rumored to be multiple kill vehicle can be used as fobs also

Nirbhay is currently land attack missile , and no trials for its ship based launch .

It can't be brahmos, as they wouldn't be needing wind tunnel model for it

Could be but I think we need a proper long range subsonic cruise missiles first. Since nirbhay has been declared a tech demonstration only. And itcm is just engine test platform so induction of subsonic missile is a priority.

Complex tech can come a bit later .

If a missile strikes a ship at its bridge ( including aircraft carrier ) can the ship become inoperable ?

New missile will be designed to be packed in universal VLS being designed for future warships. Which might include fat hypersonic / bramhos NG type missile with combination of LR - ashm. So we need more information about that . Current nirbhay is slightly slimmer than current bramhos.

If someone doesn't give me credit, I'm okay with it
But they have been doing this to others too(a repeated offender)
If the original source is okay with it then not a problem(like I am)

Hopefully we will be going for universal VLS which should be able to accommodate both anti air and anti ship + land attack in various combinations.

Barak 8 has same diameter as current nirbhay so it will probably stay. Since new missiles are also supposed to similar in width or slimmer.
