An X Band RF underwater sensor most probably for Autonmous Underwater Vehicles. This is for detecting surface ships and the usage of X Band indicate this sensor can pass a Firing solution to nearby ships , Subs or other AUS.

Da Faq!?
I thought radio wave attenuation, particularly in microwave bands like X band would be too severe to get through water!
What kind of range are we talking? Any approximate idea? If its close enough to the enemy ship, it can simply pass on its own location to friendly ship and the missile's seeker will take care of the little difference in position between AUV and hostile ship.

BTW, I don't know so I'll ask, how exactly would the AUV communicate in real time with our ship to pass on targeting information? Laser comms?

HAL had released a tender for a dynamometer last year, the capacity they wanted was 2235kW. And the engines to be tested are mentioned as the current engine of Mi-17V5 (Kilmov VK-2500 with 1985kW max power) and the current engine of older model Mi-17 (Kilmov TV3-117 with 1640kW max power).

This news of a new engine HAL is working on better not be based on the news of this facility alone. If so, it would be doubtful. But it could very well be that with IMRH being worked on and with HTSE-1200 entering LSP stage, HAL could be looking at starting the next engine project.

L&T Construction secures orders from NMDC, DRDO

The Buildings & Factories (B&F) business has secured a prestigious order from DRDO to construct their Flight Control System Facility at ADE, Bengaluru.

The project involves construction of a 1.2 Lakh sq. ft facility consisting of Ground + 6 Floors in an extremely fast track timeline of 4 months.

The project will demonstrate L&T's technological expertise in Modular Offsite Construction with Composite Truss Beam technology that will be used for the Structure. 90% of the building components will be manufactured offsite except for the foundations. The structure will have Composite Structural Steel and the building enveloped with a facade. The interiors comprise 100 mm false flooring and modular wall partitions with false ceilings. The toilets will also be constructed offsite as Fully Finished Toilet PODS (Portable on Demand Storage).

Houthis use ground-launched R-27Ts to take down even Saudi F-15s, drones are a small game. Currently, no drone in the world can defend itself from A2G or A2A threats.
This is why you need indigenous manufacturing capability for drones to churn them in dozens during war.
