kuch jyada nahi ho gaya?Under the new seven-year, $22.3 million project
Well the HAL has done that. Not sure if the IAF is keen on integrating SAAW on all its hawks. No info so far AFAIK.Best part is that even Hawk-i light aircrafts of the IAF can carry 4 SAAW bombs.

By the way, here’s the probable footage of the possible impact of a SAAW on target.
SAAW is such a perfect candidate for drone hoards, if they cant impart enough inertia then upcoming one with motor one should solve that issue.Best part is that even Hawk-i light aircrafts of the IAF can carry 4 SAAW bombs.

Iit kgp developed it
AMCA will get self healing materials .

Point is where they'll put this self-healing material. Will the RAM matrix be self-healing?
Any links @SavageKing456 ?
The reaction here is spontaneous and not non-spontaneous which requires external agentsUnlike previous one's this one was breakthrough.World's hardest self-healing material developed by Indian scientists
The material can repair its own cracks in less than a second.www.google.com
Its a nice breakthrough. But where in AMCA is this useful? Surely not in RAM. Where else?Unlike previous one's this one was breakthrough.World's hardest self-healing material developed by Indian scientists

I doubt it would be used in amca mk1Its a nice breakthrough. But where in AMCA is this useful? Surely not in RAM. Where else?
Sure, but even when developed, where will they use it? Its not a common structural material. Maybe they use it on the canopy, apart from that, I don't see anywhere else it could be used.I doubt it would be used in amca mk1
Amca mk2 probably but that is doubtful too because this technology is not yet reached to be applicable to aircrafts
Moving parts that may have structural damage ,like joints of tail stabilizerSure, but even when developed, where will they use it? Its not a common structural material. Maybe they use it on the canopy, apart from that, I don't see anywhere else it could be used.
You mean in the actuators? Could be. Its just that its not a conventional structural material, so they'll have to test its endurance first.Moving parts that may have structural damage ,like joints of tail stabilizer
Yup ,or can it be used in parts of bulkhead that bear stress , airframe life can be increasedYou mean in the actuators? Could be. Its just that its not a conventional structural material, so they'll have to test its endurance first.

Doesnt look anywhere near matured to use for real world applications.much less AMCA.Unlike previous one's this one was breakthrough.World's hardest self-healing material developed by Indian scientists
