No need to introduce this one

Hopefully it will reengineered after feasibility studies and trials ( or ofb can fuxk themselves )

Because other than wheeled truck mounted , it is being planned for towed as well as self propelled tracked mounted versions .

Ofb has indegenised ak 630 , without assistance from OEM,also we have seen a truck mounted ak 630 for ia ciws requirement
But has it been improved?.. As far as I am informed AK-630 is an open loop system, ie, it fires according to its programming but does not check if the shots were successfully hitting or not.
Within the smart or loitering munitions nowadays, a closed loop system that adjusts its shooting based on live feedback of its effect.

Can you try to find out something on that?

In short it would require a feedback from a sensor, something like Flycatcher or the one which L&T has developed. Gosh if L&T had design rights for AK-630 we would have seen a full system by now.

They could partner up. More importantly is the Fire control software & integration of the two tech.

10 years back DRDO also developed a few designs of Air Defence Guns including Revolver Design, multi Barrel Gattling type design, Single Barrel & Double Barrel designs. All rejected by Army due to Reinmetal lobby.
