Yes. Pralay, Prahar, Praanash, PDV all are derived from Prithvi.
Having same and proven design must have brought down cost in R&D and production.
Prahaar missile Launcher will have 6 missiles. Will Pralay missile launcher have 2 missile or single missile?

Avinash Chander: Our aim via the 'missile autonomy mission' is to cover a wider space as it were. Let me outline some of the new systems being progressed. A new man portable anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) for which design is over and hardware is getting developed. A Longer ranged SAM with a range of 200-250 km is on the drawing board. A quick reaction SAM which can track on move is well-advanced in the design stage. An anti-radiation missile and a long range anti-ship missile which can prevent aircraft carriers from coming within 1500-2000 km of our shores are also being pursued.

Avinash Chander: For the anti-radiation missile design is in progress, in fact hardware is being readied for the first trials. We expect successful trials of this ARM from an aircraft in about the next three years.

The long range anti-ship missile is on the drawing board, and we are confident that in about six years we would be able to get it ready. The long range anti-ship missile is going to be a ballistic missile with a seeker which can hit ships at long range.

Saurav Jha: So this is a rough equivalent of the Chinese DF-21D anti-ship ballistic missile? An anti-access/area denial system?

Avinash Chander: Something like that yes. So as you can see almost the entire spectrum of missile capability is being addressed. And addressed to meet state of the art requirements thereby giving full teeth to our armed forces.

The proposed missile either shelved or,my prediction may be right,,a ballistic missile as first stage and hstdv as terminal stage can work as a long range anti ship ballistic missile....no matter what chinese claim, a free falling warhead with limited manuvering capability can never be used against a manuvering naval target..terminal stage need a propultion system and onboard seeker to effectively target a warship...

Valleys would be ideal targets for them, blast radius would not be big like in flat lands but it will be like inside of room. Horrible horrible death for aggressors.

Found this in a OFB annual report. what is HEEB Ammunition?

105 mm HEEB Ammunition for IFG: During the year, performance demonstration of 105 mm HEEB ammunition was successfully conducted at School of Artillery, Deolali Camp, Nasik wherein a total 28 no. of HEEB ammunition & 20 no. of TNT ammunition were fired in direct & indirect mode.

This interview was in 2014 , so according to the timeline ASBM should have been ready by this time . No news till now

Yes, the interview was in 2014 and Avinash Chander also retired around the same time as his tenure was not extended. He has been very quiet since then,. The Leadership discontinuity does impact strategic direction and programs get reprioritized based on new incumbent's judgement. There were few good achievements made during his tenure.

We did have one test of NGARM from SU30 recently. ASBM tests might have been conducted stealthily as this is a top secret strategic program like Mission Shakti ASAT or it might have been deprioritized for K series missiles...I will go with the status of Black Program as no one has been talking about it since then and there have been many lofted trajectory tests in recent years !!!

This maneuvering naval target is a 100,000 super aircraft carrier with maximum speed 30+ knots (saying 32knots x 0.514m/s = 16.448m). Given the diving distance - 100km at 5 Mach, it takes the missile 53.47s to hit the target after re-entry. During this period, the maximum maneuvering range for the carrier is only 879.47m. It is hard for a single warhead to hit the carrier, but the attacking side will definitely shoot 9-12 missiles for one carrier. So, yes, it is not impossible.

No, it doesn't, there is plenty of kinetic energy for a diving warhead to maneuver.

onboard seeker to effectively target a warship...
This issue was solved by Russians long time ago.

Yeah, I have pretty much vague idea of which missile was being discussed here. I believe myself and @binayak95 talked about it in a chat group.
