Musical instruments are boreing, you dont get the same pleasure of listening to it as you play, it gets boreing once you start playing.

If you dont get a proper tune you get feed up and give up.

I think people learn instruments mainly to show off to others, because when you do it by your self and for yourself it is meaningless.

I joined a flute class sometime back. Learnt Sa Ri Ga and Ma. Gave it all up at Pa and the world of music missed having a legend! I'm sure there must be some defect in my flute that prevented me from doing Pa and Dha!

I always wanted to play the keyboard. Could not afford one when I was little. I will buy my little ones pretty soon.

There is a phrase for what you stated - "grapes are sour"

Playing the Guitar for the last 32 years. Also play bass guitar, keyboards and
a little drums. My kids also play piano.
Great. My daughter also plays the piano, she is a level 3 from Trinity college.

I had a break from my guitar playing for about 10 yrs,...but now am back at it with a vengence, and am trying to perfect the blues.
