The Centre can tell the Supreme Court to fuck off. The Court created the mess in the first place. They can solve it themselves.
I don't think so.The Centre can tell the Supreme Court to fuck off. The Court created the mess in the first place. They can solve it themselves.
The bench in its order stated, "Solicitor General has informed the court that government of India is in active engagement with FIFA and stakeholders to ensure Under-17 World Cup in the country as planned. The meeting happened on Tuesday and discussions are ongoing.

Arre calm down na; the issue is completely political now. In all probability Sarvanand Sonowal will be the next Prez; and since the GoI is directly intervening the matter should be over in a while and Sonowal would be lauded as the 'hero'. How many of you know that India is also planning to host 2027 AFC Asian Cup? There is massive ground to gain and money to be made here .....The Centre can tell the Supreme Court to fuck off. The Court created the mess in the first place. They can solve it themselves.
How many players belonging to their regular squad have dual citizenship? We don't have that luxury; it would require continuous heavy investment on youth development throughout a decade at the least to do it the hard way. There is no easy way here since top down approaches do not work across team sports. Cheenis dominate across a lot of sports and yet their football team is so bad that they could not beat India back in 2018; that too at their home turf and very recently lost to freaking Vietnam. The government and private companies should do something about India's football progress.

Then there is Congress leader Manvendra Singh, who is the son of former Union minister late Jaswant Singh and president of Rajasthan Football Association (RFA). Others in the fray include football expert and president of Delhi Football Association, Shaji Prabhakaran, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s brother Ajit Banerjee and Karnataka Congress MLA N.A. Haris.
Valanka Natasha Alemao, who contested Goa Assembly polls earlier this year on an All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) ticket, is the only woman candidate who has filed her nomination for AIFF presidential polls.
Substantial siphoning of AIFF funds by former management: CoAStupid decision by SC. Would have shown FIFA who is the boss in India. Now FIFA thinks that it can push India around.
