Heavy fighting boat SEALION II USSOCOM Special Forces operations.

Class Sealion (SEAL Insertion, Observation and Neutralization - the introduction of monitoring and neutralization, marine commandos) for getting to and withdrawal of special units in a complex combat environment. It was designed based on patented technology company Oregon Iron Work in collaboration with the Department of surface warships of the US Navy weapons development Center.

SEALION-I was raised in January 2003 and, together with the improved model SEALION-II passed advanced testing Navy SEALs until 2013. Cost of the program amounted to approximately $ 10 million. In 2013, the two buildings have been updated and refined to a state of full operational readiness. Boat Sealion slightly longer cutters Alligator, has a larger aft cabin, which can take two rigid-hull inflatable boats type RHIB. After folding masts in special compartments may be carried watercraft and underwater vehicles for transporting divers. USA #

Lockheed Martin’s Stealth Ship

Lockheed Martin’s Sea Shadow

The Sea Shadow (IX-529) was an experimental ship built by Lockheed Martin in the 1980s to test the stealth technology used on the F-117 Nighthawk for possible use on submarines.

“In the early 1980s, the vessel was built modularly under tight secrecy by different manufacturers and assembled inside the Hughes Mining Barge (HMB), at Redwood City, Calif.,” according to a 2003 Navy news release.
“There, the HMB would be moved out to sea in the dead of night and halfway submerged, to let Sea Shadow out to be tested without being overly exposed to public observation.”

The Hughes Mining Barge was developed in tandem with the ship Glomar Explorer as part of Project Azorian.

The sharp angles of Sea Shadow made the ship appear smaller on radar and informed not only the design of the deckhouse of the Arleigh Burke destroyer but the ship of the antagonist in the 1997 James Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies.

The ship was based in San Diego, Calif. for years before the ship was sold for scrap in 2012.

Most interesting part of the video shows one of the sci-fi looking Visby class corvettes.

Another scandinavian ship, the Norwegian Fridtjof Nansen class frigate.

What's interesting abput this vessel is that is has the AEGIS system incorporated into it, even though its rather small. Its also cheap, with the 5 ships costing a total of 2.5 billion USD. Nothing too special about this class, apart from the fact that it looks weird.

America’s secret aircraft carriers: The US can launch F-35s from more ships than you think

Nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) (center) and amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) transit alongside each other in the Persian Gulf. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class N.C. Kaylor)
By the standards of other nations, America actually fields between 19 and 24 aircraft carriers, depending on whose definition you’re keen to accept.
