:hmm:
Strange that not much attention given to this on news media...

A cia document in CIA's website states that a Cia agent codenamed CIMELODY-3 reported that he had received credible info that Hitler was alive and living in Colombia in 1955.

Do Google search for more info....

@Dovah @aditya10r @pmaitra @Project Dharma etc etc
I have heard about Hitler escaping to Argentina.

But his DNA was matched with some of his teeth or something like that.Soviets shouldn't have destroyed his remains.

FUHRER FLED?
CIA suspected Adolf Hitler was alive in Colombia until at least the 1950s after surviving World War 2

It goes on to suggest that Hitler, who would have been aged 66, worked as a shipping company employee before fleeing to Argentina. The report, filed by the CIA's bureau chief in Venezuela, included a picture the informant, Phillip Citroen, claims is him with the fuhrer in the mid-50s.

Newly-declassified CIA files contain a photo an informant claims is the fuhrer in 1955

The official files show a former SS soldier told spies he regularly met with the Nazi leader in Colombia

The newly-released documents show that American spooks were serious enough about Hitler's survival that they filed evidence back to the US

There was enough rumour shortly after the end of the World War II that Hitler and his coterie managed to escape Berlin and find refuge in South America. Some Nazis were indeed confirmed to have been living in South America.

Many Nazis escaped to South America. Is it beyond imagination that a U Boat took them to South America.

Vatican nexus with Nazis, supported by Swiss.

Adolf Eichmann fled to Argentina through Red Cross' help, who give them an ID with 'Ricardo Klement' name.
If he could do that, then there is no denying that Fuehrer could've done similar thing as well.

I would have expected the man to have atleast shaved off the well recognizable mushtache atleast, if he was indeed in hiding. :biggrin2:
From the looks of it Nazis were more than welcome in the Americas, so why bother shaving that awesome mustache... He would have to shave it once mossad started its business.

There are several facts:

After the war, one of the Af pilots admittted flying Hitler out from his bunker in light aircraft through a highly protected (where the last remaining fighters were deployed ) air corridor all the way to Denmark.

The main witness to his suppossed death, was his body guard who over the years changed his testimony several times, at first saying he heard the shot, then changing his story to not having heard it. He claims to have seen the body of Hitler and Eva. Not a credible witness really.

With over 200 U boats still missing at the end of war, there are reports of one of the latest U boats leaving Denmark to Argentina the night before 30th April

Hitler during his time had travelled to Argentina often where his dear friends owned the Eden Hotel which he and high level Nazis frequented. After the war, staff recall seeing him, without his moustache and were 100% sure it was him due to the various pictures of him all over the hotel, no one was allowed to speak to him. One of maids served him tea. He stayed there for a few days and then disappeared. Some say he could have lived in one of the large private farms around Cordoba or somehwre in Patagonia. Some of these vast farms had high level of security.

Heck even the FBI was pulled in to search for him in Argentina but the amount of work after the war basically pushed the priorities down. There were cables sent from south america but not sure how much importance was given to them.

It is hard for me to believe that a man as Hitler was silly enough not to have escape options.

History channel has a nice documentary about it.

SORRY to put cold water on top of every conspiracy babas in DFI but this is fake. Hitler committed suicide and his body was burnt in Berlin. The Russians even managed to preserve his skull and match his DNA with that.

This is FAKE pmaitra sir.

Here is a rebuttal by Snopes(a leftist website but they do their research well,)

https://www.snopes.com/fbi-files-prove-adolf-hitler-escaped-to-argentina/

CLAIM
Files released by the FBI prove that Adolf Hitler escaped Germany for Argentina.

RATING
FALSE

In May 2016, a web site called AnonHQ published a shocking story about Adolf Hitler: apparently the FBI had finally admitted, at long last, that the Nazi leader had not only fled to South America at the end of World War II, but that he had lived out his last years there in peace before finally dying of old age:

The FBI.gov website reveals the government knew Hitler was alive and well, and living in the Andes Mountains long after World War II had ended.

The world has been told for the last 70 years that on April 30 1945, Adolf Hitler committed suicide in his underground bunker. His body was discovered and identified by the Soviets before being taken back to Russia. Is it possible that the Soviets lied all this time, and that history was rewritten?

With the release of these FBI documents, it certainly seems that the most notorious leader in history escaped Germany and lived a peaceful life in the foothills of the Andes Mountains in South America.

The story was permeated with links to official-looking documents and other stories, giving it an convincingly authoritative sheen. However, the links that led to the most “damning” FBI pages turned up a collection of letters, newspaper clippings, and first-, second-, and third-hand accounts that had been gathered over a period of several years after the end of World War II.

The first letter in the collection referred to a man who contacted the now-defunct Los Angeles Examiner through a friend of a friend, claiming to have proof of Hitler’s dramatic escape by submarine (the names in the scanned documents were blacked out):

[Redacted] disclosed to [redacted] that he wished to find some high government official who would guarantee him immunity from being sent back to Argentina if he told him the following information. According to [redacted] he was one of four men who met HITLER and his party when they landed from two submarines in Argentina approximately two and one-half weeks after the fall of Berlin….

[Redacted] maintains that he can name the six Argentine officials and also the names of the three other men who helped HITLER inland to his hiding place. [Redacted] explained that he was given $15,000 for helping in the deal. [Redacted] explained to [redacted] that he was hiding out in the United States now so that he could tell later how he got out of Argentina.

Alas, when the reporter tried to follow up with the source, he was unable to find him again. Additionally, police and Immigration and Naturalization Services were unable to match the man’s name with any records. The existence of this document in FBI records demonstrates nothing beyond the fact that the agency was obligated to follow up all such leads reported to them in the immediate post-war era, no matter how far-fetched they might seem.

Another site turned up a purported photograph of Hitler (by then supposedly calling himself Adolf Liepzig, because apparently he didn’t have the wherewithal to figure out that he should use a different name) posing with his girlfriend (supposedly named “Cutinga”) not long before he died of old age in 1986:

Of course, the photograph is old and grainy, making it impossible to identify any significant facial features of the persons pictured in it. However, the picture is taken as solid evidence of Hitler’s escape by Simoni Renee Guerrerio Dias, a student from Brazil who coincidentally discovered the photograph at around the same time she was trying to sell her book about Hitler.

:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Other documents recorded reports of similar sightings that all ultimately led to dead ends, and the collection demonstrates that the FBI actively investigated such leads for several years. Of course, the fact that the agency never turned up anything isn’t taken as evidence that there was nothing to find by the most conspiracy-minded denizens of the internet, but rather that the FBI was complicit in Hitler’s escape:

Even with a detailed physical description and directions the FBI still did not follow up on these new leads. Even with evidence placing the German sub U-530 on the Argentinian coast shortly before finally surrounding, and plenty of eye witness accounts of German official being dropped off, no one investigated.

Although there is nothing to be found in the AnonHQ article or the FBI files that comes close to contradicting the standard understanding that Hitler died by his own hand in his Berlin bunker in the closing days of World War II, these documents do highlight the fact that the types of people who forward patently fake e-mails or write hoax articles just to garner web traffic have indubitably existed in one form or another since at least the 1940s.

I don’t buy any of this crazy stuff. Hitler had one million reasons to commit suicide and zero to escape. Nothing in his behaviour and in the stories of every high ranking officer who met him in his final year in power indicates than he was a man thinking of hiding or escape: He was sick, under heavy drugs treatment probably depressed, probably severely paranoid. Perfect candidate for suicide.

I generally do not agree with your passive French attitude. I like Armand2Rep on the other hand but I agree with this point of yours.

This story is straight from the CIA website from declassified files.

The skull fragment belonged to a women. However there was a dental piece which matched Hitlers DNA and dental records as per the net.

Edit: They are saying that the skull might have been from Eva Braun,Hitlers mistress and later wife.

Edit 2: Here is another FAKE...oops I meant most trusted name in news network CNN on the Hitler skull.

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/12/10/hitler.skull.debate/index.html

(CNN) -- Nearly 65 years after his demise by his own hand in a bunker beneath the streets of Berlin, Adolf Hitler is still managing to cause controversy.

The latest dispute has pitched U.S. researchers against the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in a debate over the authenticity of fragments of skull and jawbone said to belong to the Nazi dictator.

The origins of the dispute date back to 2000 when Russian officials put the fragments on public display in Moscow. The skull fragment has a hole near the temple. Proof, said officials, that Hitler had committed suicide by putting a gun to his head.

But earlier this year, researchers from the University of Connecticut released the results of a DNA test on the skull which they say proves not only that it didn't belong to the Nazi leader, but the remains were that of a female aged between 20 and 40 years old.

The findings might have encouraged one of the wilder conspiracy theories about Hitler to flourish, but researchers were not claiming that Hitler was a woman.

Nor do they think that the remains are likely to be those of Hitler's long term partner Eva Braun, who, so the story goes, killed herself at the same time and place as the Fuehrer in 1945.

Yet despite the new evidence, Russian officials remain adamant that the remains are Hitler's and, in their defense, have released archive documents in an attempt to prove the bones are authentic.

A report published by Russia's Interfax news agency this week quotes the head of the FSB archives saying Hitler's remains, except parts of his skull and jaw, were burnt in 1970 and thrown into the Biederitz River in what was then East Germany.

FSB archives' chief Lieutenant-General Vasily Khristoforov told Interfax that the decision to destroy Hitler's remains and those of Eva Braun and the Goebbels family was ordered by the head of Russia's KGB -- forerunner to the FSB -- Yury Andropov [who briefly became Soviet leader in 1982].

"Andropov clearly listed the plan: To remove and destroy the remains of the war criminals, buried in Magdeburg [Germany] on February 21, 1946..." Khristoforov told Interfax.

Khristoforov said Andropov's decision to dispose of Hitler's ashes in the river nearly 40 years ago was "motivated by the KGB and Communist Party leaders' fears that the place where Hitler was buried could become a place of attraction for supporters of his ideas."

Interesting though they are, the Khristoforov's revelations don't shed any more light on the authenticity of the skull.

For now, U.S. researchers stand by their evidence saying the skull fragment is definitely from a female, while Russia insists that the jawbone -- which the U.S. researchers didn't test -- is most definitely male.

Whatever the eventual outcome is, in this, the latest in a long line of investigations into the most reviled figure of the 20th century, it seems certain that experts and conspiracy theorists alike will be picking over the bones of Hitler's life and legacy for decades to come.

And let’s not forget that a bunch of Third Reich prominent figures committed suicide and that another bunch was captured (meaning it was not simple at all to escape if you tried). Who escaped among the top ones ?

Also I would make a final post that nothing can be proven about Hitler`s death or his escape till we invent a time machine. I believe Hitler died because the Red Army would hardly have any reason to facilitate his escape. After all it was the Russians who captured Berlin and not the Allies. Also nearly all U boats were sunk/destroyed near the end of the war. Allies and the Russians had broken the Enigma code and could accurately track all U boat movements. They would hardly let Hitler slip by in a U boat.

Then again fact sometimes ends up being stranger than fiction.

Edit: A final quote by the Stalinator about Hitler

The last surviving body guard of Hitler's bunker didn't die until 2013 and he said he saw Hitler's dead body. Unless he is part of a cover-up which includes the Russians who took pictures of the corpse.
