My above quoted amp went kaput due to ageing, I had purchased it around 1998 in Rs. 3400/- iirc🤔. Though it is repairable but I don't want to repair it, rather I am thinking to buy an LM3886 based stereo amplifier for Mids+Highs. I have heard that modern ICs like LM3886 and TDA7294 are very forgiving ICs which have a very good studio grade high fidelity sound output.

Guys, there is a seller in Kolkata named NG Electronics, they also have a Youtube channel. I am planning to purchase the amplifier from them.

It'll cost around Rs. 5500/- with 24-0-24 Volts 5 amp power supply with a good quality Bluetooth kit and Bass/treble kit.

Do you have any suggestion ?
Buy it if you can put it together. This is the best way to build a amplifier

Btw sometimes yamaha RS 201 is available on Amazon for 17-18k you can check it out too.

That's good but beyond my planned budget, once I shift to a new home I'll think about purchasing a 5.2 A/V receiver bro. Till then cheap ones will do. :)

Do you like to watch movies on your setup?
If not then why not to go with stereo amplifier setup you can check out marantz pm5005 and wharfedale Dimond 220 series bookshelf speakers.

As of now I am using F&D 5.1 for movies Pc>Tv : Pc>5.1, which is quite good. :) Thanks.

But as you know not all movies have good 5.1 recording.

Got these Edifer R-1850db.
For 13889 on prime day sales of Amazon.
These are powerd speakers with Amp output of 70watt Rms.
Sound is very natural just like classic bookshelf speaker's it's loud enough to fill up one average size room I'm really impressed with the sound quality of these speaker's.

and speciality in these speaker's is Sub-out/line out port which gives easier access to connect different subwoofer. This is the only speaker in this range which have this function.

Previously i was thinking to build 2.1 setup with norge amplifier and passive speakers but ran into budget constrains.

Running Car amplifier in home to power subs.
I'm using 360watt 12Volt 30 ampere power supply to power the amplifier. I guess this amplifier is making 190rms on bridge mode 4ohms. Using car amplifier in home to power 12inch subs is cheapest jugaad.
I have used this amplifier with full gain but still my power supply was running just fine.
Amplifier is 2 year's old.
