Wealth of Punjabis is peanuts in front of Gujratis' wealth. You will get to know the money power of Gujaratis, when you visit small towns and villages, and you see the infrastructure is comparable to most big urban centers of India. I have seen it myself.Gults,Tamils are quite good so are Punjabis
Before Modi it was considered that Gujratis in the US were more successful because of better policies in the US. Now that Gujrat is doing well we say it is because of the will of the people and not Modi?Gujaratis have always been businessmen while others have not.

There was no way. Remember, Gujrat is what it is today because of its infrastructure and investor's faith in the state government.Where there's a will there's a way .
Actually , before Modi the way was blocked .
What Modi did , just cleared the way and showed the new path .
I didn't get that .There was no way. Remember, Gujrat is what it is today because of its infrastructure and investor's faith in the state government.
Before Modi the infrastructure was not good. It was only during his tenure that State transportation and road connectivity got a boost. The development has been not only in urban areas but also far out rural areas. I'm not only talking about road connectivity. Even power and water supply to remote areas of Kutch has been accomplished.I didn't get that .
Well before Modi there were no such large Auto industries in Gujarat but the infrastructure and faith of investor's were there .
So all in all , East or West NaMo is the Best .Before Modi the infrastructure was not good. It was only during his tenure that State transportation and road connectivity got a boost. While other states are planning, Modi is doing it.
Where did i bash modi ?Before Modi it was considered that Gujratis in the US were more successful because of better policies in the US. Now that Gujrat is doing well we say it is because of the will of the people and not Modi?
Hopefully other states also get some motivation and start projects like this all over India. While other states are still on the drawing board, Modi is already on his way. We have to start somewhere, Modi has shown us the way. Very encouraging for the investors as well seeing the state government being so committed to the project.
Gujrat can, and gujrat will do it.
India has embarked on creating the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) in collaboration with Japan.
The US$100-billion project is expected to double employment potential, triple industrial output and quadruple exports from the region in five years.
Total employment to be generated by the project is estimated at 3 million people, mostly in the manufacturing and processing sectors.
Plans call for a 4,000-megawatt power plant, three seaports and six airports, in addition to connectivity with existing ports. Construction is scheduled to be complete by 2018, and the corridor will house and employ more than 1.5 million.
"The concept of the DMIC is that economic growth in India has to remain at least 9% each year," said DMIC president Amitabh Kant. "It can be achieved if the industrial sector continues to grow rapidly."
The service industry, he says, simply does not create enough jobs.
The DMIC concept coincides with the National Manufacturing Policy, which aims to increase the sector's share of the country's GDP to more than 25% by 2022 from the current 16% and create 100 million jobs in the next 10 years.
