They are spending money to promote tourism and there by change the perception of their country.

They are even sponsoring people of other countries to write positive articles about their visit of Pakistan.

But the terror manufacturing factories and ideology is still there as it is.

I think we should have good relations with all our neighbors. Developing narrative against any country is not a good idea. Though holiday destination is altogether a different question.

Iran is also trying very hard to develop tourism. Even Saudi Arabia does it. So why not Pakistan ? Trouble is, it is not as safe as Iran or Saudi Arabia . And events like those happening in the capital are not especially encouraging for European tourists.

Might not be so bad if we are to look at civilian/military tussle going on in Pak. Military making cautious moves to step in and prevent civilians from getting prime control of country while civilian leadership marred by corruption finding it difficult to keep civilian authority at helm. These appraisal/encouragement by foreign nation can help them counter propaganda they are facing by its deep state. Recently they also made some good changes in school curriculum of one Pakistani province.
