British have left India long ago but their Policy of divide and Rule is firmly picked Up by COngress. They are the Cancers of the Nation.
No `divide and rule` and British here - this is a naked quest for power by Congress party and others in states such as Assam and WB to retain power by allowing illegal Bangladeshis entry for their votes.

Mamata Banerjee who raised a storm in Pariliament in 2005 protesting against illegal BDs when she was in opposition is now making statements against Modi for saying he will deport them - all because now those BDs who were CPM voters are now TMC voters !

Indian Bengali Muslims, I fear, have already been outnumbered by illegals. None of this is their fault, and it must not be incumbent on them to find a solution to this problem. It's the central government's fault, because border security is a central subject.

It's partly also the fault of states sharing borders with Bangladesh, because if a state government is serious about combating illegal immigration, it can always task a thin branch police force that sets up a defense perimeter concentric to that of BSF. I believe that's what Punjab has recently started to do, to combat its narcotics problem (state police shadowing BSF with a concentric perimeter). That also weeds out politically-motivated incompetence by BSF.
Indian bengali muslim is not a small muslim community like gujarati,mp,tamil nadu, andhra muslims which can be easity outnumber.

In 1951 west bengal's muslim population was 5 million(4.6 million bengali muslim) and assam muslim population was 2 million(at least 1.5 million bengali muslim)
so in 1951 indian bengali muslim was 6.1 million.
In 1951 india's total muslim population was 36 million.
So in 1951 every one out of six indian muslim was bengali which was 16.66% of india's total muslim population.

so in 2011 indian bengali muslim population must be 27-30 million.

its not easy to outnumber bengali speaking indian muslim you need over 30 million forgien muslim to outnumber us.

It is not that difficult to identify and deport illigals... Bangladeshis speak Bangali in a diffferent way which can be identified...

Mamta is shamelessly playing communal line... as 30% minorities are behind her... else she will lose the election without their support...

The people of Bengal are helpless against the strong arm politics of Left earlier and TMC now... the Gondas who were with the left front for last 32 years are now with the TMC... anyone standing against them will be have very hard time... anyone who does not fall in their line are given the short shift specially in the villages where 80% of population lives...

I see a silver lining in this election ... BJP is comming up very fast and it is expected to catch up with Congress with 17% of the votes share in Bengal... People of Bengal have to wait for another 5 - 8 years atleast till the TMC looses its strength...

Rest assured Bangalis are very patriotic and love their motherland...

Communist are finished in Bengal... they do not have young leader to take them forward... It is to be seen how quickly BJP feels the void and put up a strong show against TMC... I see a bright furure of BJP in Bengal...
Muslim population in bengal in 2001 was 25.2% how can it be 30% in 2011.it may be 27% maximum in 2011.

So mamta in power is bengali muslim fault alone.
how many mp,mla mamta have in highly muslim populated murshidabad, malda, uttar dinajpur district where muslim percentage 50-65%.
tmc has only 5 mla out of 43 assembly seats in those area(tmc has 182 mla out of 294 mla)

tmc has o mp out of 6 pirlamentary seats in those area and they will finish 3rd in all those area this time

Mamta is strong in alipurduars, jalpaiguri, nabadweep, barackpur, bonga, kanthi, tamluk, purulia, bankura, hoogly loksabha seat where muslim percentage between 7-15%.
who was voting for them in those area.

out of 59 muslim mla in assembly tmc has 25 opposotion has 34 in assembly.
out of 6 muslim mp in wb tmc has 2 opposition has 4.

so it will be very immature to say that majority of muslim in wb support mamta.
