New Delhi, October 2 (ANI): Jacques Rogge, the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) arrived in New Delhi early on Saturday as a special invitee for the opening ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Wife Anne, chief of staff Christophe de Kepper and around 20 other leading IOC officials are accompanying Rogge.
The IOC chief would attend the opening ceremony on Sunday before leaving on Monday.
another observation was - all the athletes of respective countries were walking behind their countries flag bearers (FB) but in case of pakistan they were all trying to rush through, to the extent they were walking ahead of their flag bearer and then their flag bearer had to stop, push back everyone (quite literally) and even then it seemed completely haphazard.Surprisingly, not even one women athlete. Women are truly suppressed in Pakistan.
