The TV channel accidentally broadcast 30 minutes of hardcore pornography in the Boston area of the US yesterday, The Sun reports.
Viewers had switched on the channel hoping to watch an episode of the popular travel and food show Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.
But they ended up becoming way too familiar with the parts of adult actors — in a steamy show where cooking was not on the menu.
CNN was not to blame for the foul-up, according to IB Times.
It has been reported that there was a technical mistake by US digital cable TV provider RCN.

The major cable TV provider based in New Jersey offers hundreds of TV channels relating to movies, sports news and children’s programming, as well as premium on-demand channels and streaming TV on TiVo.
It would be half an hour before the rump-pumpy unfolding on the channel was pulled.
Some bemused viewers took to Twitter to express their disbelief at what they were seeing.
Twitter user Rose said: “I can’t wait until @RCNconnects wakes up tmrw & realizes that hardcore porn was broadcast on @CNN instead of @PartsUnknownCNN tonight.”
Both CNN and RCN were unavailable for comment.
Earlier this year porn was accidentally played on a large screen TV in the Wanda Plaza in Bengbu city, Anhui Province, reports the People’s Daily Online.
