Yeah right, people here cry about Minsk agreements, we also have been crying about Machoman Line and Simla Agreements, did we get our territory, No!

Agreements are bilateral and not unilateral as of what either NATO does or Chinese does or even Russians do.
Takshent Agreement do.

US is in full PR mode.

Here's What Those 'Bunker-Defeat' Rockets The U.S. Sent To Ukraine Are Actually Capable Of

Ukraine has an analogue. This is RPV-16. He is a clone of the Russian RPO-A.
Here their place in the units is more important.

Then it is necessary to somehow explain the fact that:
- The main opposition Telegram channel "Nexta" with more than 1 million subscribers at that time, which coordinated the protests, had its office in Poland.
- that the main oppositionist Tikhanovskaya, according to the Lithuanian authorities, is kept at their expense. She still travels around Europe and performs to the applause of various European venues.
- Sanctions on Belarus were imposed by the European Union.

And the main question: how did Putin manage to arrange all this?

Putin isnt a saint who wanted to embrace belarus, to protect it from evil west. He is just looking after long term securities of his own country. He may not have started it, but he navigated it to a situation, where he benefits the most. Neither does lukashenko sees in putin "a brother from another mother". Also not everything has to be overtly arranged, nor everyone has to be on your payroll. putin's detractors in russia have often managed to make themselves look stupid in public, are they on putin's payroll?

US just does color revolutions and props up puppet regime at Russian doorstep.
Sakaashvili (tie muncher) who is now in Ukraine, and apparently enjoys the local girls is a fantastic democrat who will steer Ukraine into bright future.

If one look carefully you see such cartoons in many ex soviet states and to justify their failure the answer is Russia.

Apparently, hard work, fighting corruption and putting own house in order is not enough to put one country on good path. Economic development is done by joining military alliance, whip up Nationalist sentiment to fight a much superior foe gives you guaranteed path to prosperity and security.

US is partly trying to regain its lost prestige during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan last year. They were searching for an issue to deal with so that they re-establish their lost prestige. Biden Administration thought that threatened invasion of Taiwan by China would give them an issue but it was only intimidation not a reality. That virtual conversation of Biden with Xi of China just cooled off Chinese enthusiasm. The invasion never sort of materialized.

Putin of Russia thought to gain something out of the weakened US presidency. He initiated military buildup to threaten Ukraine to ask them to cease and desist from joining NATO. That was his just demand. Nobody wants two superpowers yards away from each other. Ukraine is good as buffer state. That was not to be. Putin brought in 100,000 of his soldiers to stare Ukraine down. US was waiting for this opportunity to stare Russia down. Rest of Western Europe was in no position to face Russia but US was. The diplomatic and media shouting match began between US and Russia. Interestingly other major powers (non NATO) like China and India have been keeping quite.

For 100,000 soldiers which Putin has piled up; US is sending a token force of 8,500 soldiers. Other naval forces even during peace time are playing a cat and mouse game in the North Atlantic. Hence they are not directly involved in Europe buildup. Then what is the net outcome would be?

Russia will never allow NATO in the vicinity. US knows that hence would keep the noisy diplomatic and media war on. It is quite possible that Biden/US may regain some of its list prestige after Afghanistan withdrawal. Worst sufferer will be Ukraine caught in between the two powers. The two powers would not allow any just solution. Hence the moral is to not to be tempted by US offer of goodies in case you switch sides. US had made that offer several times to Ukraine in the past dozen years. Neutrality would be a solution with present pro West leadership in Ukraine dumped in favor of a middle of the road leader…….. cheers

Who is propping up regimes in Eastern Europe again?

As to NATO, we'll Russia just have to suck it since its neighbors absolutely despise it and will go crawling to NATO even if Putin chop off all their legs.

Weaning off of Russia

The Biden administration is working with other natural gas suppliers around the world, including in the U.S., North Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East, to offer alternative sources and provide a buffer should Russia use its energy resource as political leverage, a senior administration official told reporters Tuesday.

Lol what a cruel joke by Germany!
Goes to show how far these flag bearers of freedom, democracy and human rights are willing to go to to defend their values.
Yes, the new German government is not positioning itself very well now.
But it's not just Germany. Many European countries froze as if under hypnosis. Only those who were part of the Warsaw Pact actively fuss.
