The title of the first image says "Russian Military Presence in Europe's Gray Zones," and at the same time, says there are no troops in Nagorno-Karabakh. So, why include it at all?

Yup. These are just some made up numbers. These are somebody's ill fantasies.
There are near 50000 servicemen (not only troops) in Crimea (officially).
And how can anybody count ones on Donbass (except for Russian JCCC mission part which number is clear)?
So, as I've said, ill fantasies.

is not a shame The Caucasus is Europe, too.Or Geography.
I was taught that the Ural Mountains, the Ural River, and the Caucasian Mountains separate Europe from Asia. So, Nagorno-Karabakh, South Ossetia and Abkhazia are not part of Europe. So, these should not be in the map at all.
is not a shame The Caucasus is Europe, too.

Boundaries between continentsThere are three overland boundaries subject to definition:
- between Europe and Asia (dividing Eurasia): along the Turkish Straits, the Caucasus and the Urals (historically also north of the Caucasus, along the Kuma–Manych Depression or along the Don River)
- between Asia and Africa (dividing Afro-Eurasia into Africa and Eurasia): at the Isthmus of Suez
- between North America and South America (dividing the Americas): the Isthmus of Panama
There is only one division - the Ural mountains.Boundaries between continents
