Farage is England's Soini. He doesn't represent the British's govt.
Indeed, he represents British people unlike British government. Imagine that!

Yes... So, guy is openly anti EU, goes out and counters people with GOOD ARGUMENTS and that is really something rare when it comes someone coming from western politics. I rember him being sustained when "freedom bunch" with their terrorist BFF murdered Muammar Gaddafi, against Syria intervention. He is also labeled by British, as fruit cake without any good argument that he is. Guy basically goes on saying why exactly hes dissing EU (unelected bureaucrats, no sovereign policy, laws are made in Brussels by people with charisma comparable to used washbag) and only answer people can come up with by pushing that lonely brain cell is ad hominem attack.

This man, not only makes some sense, but predicts with astonishing accuracy what EU is doing.

Watch this debate with someone lingering high up in British government.

Oh and you can ignore how Farage wipes the floor with Clegg and just BTW he talks about EU army, gets bashed for it and almost a year later we get Jean-Claude Juncker's proposal.

Russia Provides Ukraine With $13.75 Million as Part of First IMF Loan

Russia's Finance Minister announced that Ukraine will receive $13.75 million from Russia in its first IMF tranche, as part of an agreement on quota resources.

As a contributor to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Russia will take part in providing Ukraine with its first IMF loan tranche, contributing $13.75 million to the tranche on March 13, Russia's Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced. The first IMF tranche grants it a total of 3.546 billion in special drawing rights (around $5 billion) which will be made available to the account of the National Bank of Ukraine.
"The program's financing is implemented through both the IMF's quota resources and the involvement of financing from shareholder countries through their participation in the New Arrangements to Borrow (NAB). As a result, the Russian Federation, in accordance with its requirements as a participant in NAB will finance the first tranche of the IMF program to the tune of 10 million SDR ($13.75 million)."
The Bank of Russia will make the payment later in the day, the minister added.
On Friday, Ukraine's Ministry of Finance announced that Ukraine has begun receiving funds from the first IMF tranche.
Commenting on the IMF's decision to provide Ukraine with a $17.5 billion loan package, Martin Sieff, columnist for the Baltimore Post-Examiner, argues that Western financial intervention into the Ukrainian economy is akin to throwing money down a black hole.

In total, Ukraine will receive $10 billion in 2015, of a total of $40 billion. $17.5 billion will be provided will be provided by the IMF and $15 billion will come through loan restructuring. Another 7.5 billion comes from other creditors, including $2 billion from the European Union, $2 billion from the United States and the rest from other G7 members.
The conflict in eastern Ukraine had a direct impact on the country's economy as its currency has plummeted, its foreign reserves have dried up and growth has slowe

Russian plane to bring 10 Donbas children to Moscow for treatment

They have various diagnoses, but all of them need urgent highly experienced and high-tech medical care, which cannot be provided in Donbas, the Emergencies Ministry spokesman informed

MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russia's Emergencies Ministry is sending a special aircraft to take ten severely ill children from eastern Ukraine to Moscow for treatment, the ministry's official spokesman said on Thursday.
"The children are the residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the youngest of them is under 12 months of age," spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky said.
"They have various diagnoses, but all of them need urgent highly experienced and high-tech medical care, which cannot be provided to them in full in the Donbas medical facilities due to the difficult situation," he said.
The Il-76 aircraft has the modern equipment and special medical modules allowing controlling and supporting the severely ill persons and providing the necessary assistance to them during the flight.
The children and their parents will be accompanied by medical experts and psychologists from the Emergencies Ministry and will be taken to special medical facilities where they will get the necessary assistance.
Russian children's rights commissioner Pavel Astakhov said earlier some 200 Ukrainian children who need urgent medical aid would be brought to Moscow's hospitals.

Simferopol, Crimea republic, Russia
Your media will never show You: Yesterday in the Simferopol, for the first time since 1991, Crimean youths were married in the Crimean Tatar language and ceremony.
I want to remind that after Crimean referendum and creation of Crimean republic in Russia, one of decision of new Crimean government were made Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatarian three official languages of Crimea. In same time in the "new, democratic Ukraine" Russian language was banned even as regional language by first decision of Ukrainian fascist parliament. Petr Poroshenko confirmed fascist course to suppression of other languages in Ukraine. Same as fascist Germany, fascist Ukraine make country with one nation, one language and one fuhrer.
In fact, from first year of "Ukrainian independence", from 1991 year, during 23 years, governments of Ukraine forced people to use Ukrainian language only. Step by step other languages, mostly Russian, were pushed out from Ukrainian state.
Poroshenko's fascist regime continues the work of other Ukrainian governments and presidents.
Despite the obvious criminal acts of Kiev junta, regimes of EU/US called the current regime as democracy. Government of the Crimea, which gives freedoms to normal citizens and pursue extremists, US/ EU called occupational undemocratic.
No doubt your media does not show video of the wedding ceremony on the Crimean Tatar language and Crimean Tatar traditions.

Can this man replace Putin as President of Russia: Sergei Borisovich Ivanov (Russian: Серге́й Бори́сович Ивано́в; IPA: [sʲɪrˈɡʲej bɐˈrʲisəvʲɪtɕ ɪvɐˈnof]; born 31 January 1953) is a Russian senior official and statesman. He was Minister of Defense of Russia from March 2001 to February 2007, Deputy Prime Minister from November 2005 to February 2007, and the First Deputy Prime Minister from February 2007 to May 2008. After the election of Dmitry Medvedev as President of Russia, Ivanov was reappointed a deputy prime minister in Vladimir Putin's second government. In December 2011 he was appointed Chief of Staff Presidential Administration of Russia.

Before joining the federal administration in Moscow, Ivanov, a fluent speaker of English—served in the Soviet Union as a specialist in law and foreign languages, both at home and abroad (in Europe and Africa) from the late 1970s to the late 1990s. In 1975, Ivanov graduated from the Department of Philology at Leningrad State University, where he studied English and Swedish, and later completed postgraduate studies in counterintelligence and law in Minsk, where he became a friend of his colleague Vladimir Putin.[1] From July 1998 through August 1999 Ivanov served as a deputy to Vladimir Putin.

So why this sudden change in tune? Does it mean "Project Ukraine" failed, and now the US is trying to find a face saving way out? Or does this mean there is a division within US about whether the US should continue to destroy democratically elected governments and install puppet dictators?

Seems like it.

I also get the feeling that the US is in panic mode, as there is a split within NATO countries, especially Germany and France, and now Italy, on one hand, and the US on the other. Several other NATO countries are also upset with the US, such as Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Greece, for various reasons. Turkey long back refused to tow the line of western sanctions and was the first NATO country to offer food exports to Russia, and Russia followed up with Turk-Stream. I think the US has realized that if they carry on like this, NATO is going to collapse. This is my speculation, of course.

The Ukraine Mess Is the Worst of Obama's Many Foreign Policy Disasters

PARIS—The most devastating reproach historians are likely to make to Barack Obama's record in the White House is his devastating failure in foreign policy—a failure that stems from his willingness to leave the warrior ideologues of the State and Defense Departments in place after he became president.

To them he added ideologues of a new and equally interventionist persuasion, which he found congenial: that of humanitarian action, scarcely relevant in resisting the Islamic caliphate that emerged as a major force in the concluding half of his second term. By then he also faced a Republican Congressional majority distinguished by its ignorance—worse than his own in foreign policy matters—and its vindictiveness.

He arrived in office to a military leadership lacking a political strategy to shape its tactics in the Middle East and Afghanistan. When he asked for options and political counsel on ending the Mideast wars—as he had promised the electorate—he was insolently given settled plans by the generals for prosecuting the wars to victory.

Iraq in fact was eventually abandoned in a condition of political wreckage and sectarian conflict, and Kabul's leaders have convinced the United States to remain in Afghanistan to prevent the same outcome, which we may fear will nonetheless eventually arrive.

He and the military leadership insisted on a useless and destructive intervention in Libya, with devastating consequences throughout northeastern Africa, and in the Syrian civil war they searched in vain for "moderate" rebel allies to overturn Bashar al-Assad. Obama would later rue the lack of Assad's cooperation when the forces of the Islamic State arrived. With respect to Israel, President Obama accepted complaisantly—until one week ago—the defiance and disdain of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He left dealings with Europe, and with the United States' most important and dangerous interlocutor, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, under the controlling influence of a neoconservative cabal in the State Department, committed to reckless policies of American and NATO expansion in Northern Europe.

However, if Obama is to be blamed for these errors, it is also true that his policies have reflected a consensus in the U.S. governing class and popular opinion alike that America must always be "first." This has been the guiding presupposition of the nation and its elite, the majority of its foreign policy intellectuals and its mainstream newspapers and other makers of opinion.

The invasion of Afghanistan, the search in Iraq for the weapons of mass destruction that "had" to be there, the destruction of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, and disbanding of Iraq's Baath Party, army and the existing Sunni apparatus of Iraq's government—all were welcomed by most of the American policy community.

But history's judgment of Obama's foreign policy will likely hang on the outcome of the American-backed coup in Kiev in February 2014. It was intended to bring about Ukraine's eventual adhesion to the European Union and ultimately to NATO (despite earlier U.S. assurances to the contrary).

The cease-fire between Ukrainian forces and Russian insurgents that precariously prevails today was brought about by Franco-German diplomatic intervention to pre-empt declared American intentions to supply Ukraine with heavy weapons to expand the war against the insurgents.

The circumstances surrounding the instigation of this crisis have yet to be seriously investigated by the American press, and Russian claims that it was a hostile American act have been dismissed without solid evidence by American and NATO spokesmen and officials.

European opinion and most of the European press, accustomed to follow the American lead in major foreign policy matters, have expressed notable doubt about the origin and purpose of the current American and NATO roles in Ukraine, which seem to have been to provoke an unwelcome war with Russia.

Last weekend the German weekly Der Spiegel published an investigation of the frequently inflammatory statements of NATO's commander, Gen. Philip Breedlove (a U.S. officer), regarded by the German government as the leading figure in an American effort "to thwart European efforts at mediation." Much of what he says is regarded in the Chancellery in Berlin as "dangerous propaganda," which Germany's Foreign Ministry has protested to the NATO secretary general.

Spiegel writes that "Obama seems almost isolated. He has ... done little to quiet those who would seek to increase tensions with Russia and deliver weapons to Ukraine. Sources in Washington say that Breedlove's bellicose comments are first cleared with the White House and Pentagon. ... (The General's role) is that of increasing the pressure on America's more reserved trans-Atlantic allies."

But to what purpose? Surely not war? Or regime change in Russia? This is a question for which it seems impossible to find an answer—or even a discussion—in the American media. Europe has no answer. Perhaps even Mr. Obama doesn't know. Is it to be left to the historians?
