What's the point of making threads like this if you guys post only anti-china news?

@Indx TechStyle please keep these threads clean. If not, just add 'exposed' to every china related thread title..

For ex,

Chinese Private Space Industry - Exposed.

No, I mean what issue Chinese nationalists and CCP hold with them?
1. They tell their followers not to take any medicine or reasonable medical treatment for any sickness. Many people dead as the result. As the believers, themselves don't mind. But their families wouldn't accept it. These families put huge pressure on the government.
2. They believes they are right and refuse any criticism from anywhere, anyone. They protested in front of the door of central government requiring CCP to shut down any voice opposing them (which is the treatment that CCP itself couldn't get 100%). In the eyes of CCP, they are trying to put Falungong on the top of CCP.

How many launches China would have every year in general (at current capacity) if we rule out very small rockets like Kuizhaou or Jilong?

There is no such thing as a Chinese private space industry, as everything is ultimately owned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their military. That was the point of the video on the previous page, that all "space exploration" technologies will ultimately be used for military purposes by the CCP military. If Jack Ma can be sent into exile by the CCP for making a few comments, do you really think the CCP and their military wouldn't control something so crucial as the private space sector? The whole point of going the private space route is to get access to dual use technologies from western private space industry. That was the point Chris was trying to make.

As far as your contention that there is only negative news, I beg to disagree. For every one of my posts, CCP bots have created several propaganda posts with lots of media. Perhaps you and the CCP bots and other China fans would only prefer posts that sing praises of the CCP and their great works, and stop anyone from posting anything negative about the CCP. That is how it is in China; no negative news or criticism of the CCP are allowed. You should try it.

The CCP bots will only repeat propaganda points that they have been taught their entire lives by the CCP education system and media, because that is all they know. The reality is that the CCP is insecure and paranoid about control, which is why it cracks down on all religions, whether it be Falun Gong, Tibetan Buddhists or Uyghur Muslims:
It's not about religion, it's about power and control, which is why CCP is imprisoning billionaires who have spoken out against CCP's policies:

I think this thread should be more about science and technology instead of getting b*tthurt over the progress of the Chinese space industry.

Progress in space technology of any nation will benefit humanity in the future. So don't be myopic.

The space race between the soviets and the US was a major boost to space technology and its main purpose was achieving spaceflight which at the time was considered as a necessity for national security (military).
That is a very Chinese Communist way of thinking, comrade, that the thread should only be about what you and the Chinese Communist Party bots want it to be about, and not have any criticisms about what the CCP may do with this technology militarily, or how the CCP is acquiring this technology through IP theft from western companies, organizations and universities. It's because of this kind of naive thinking that the CCP can do no wrong that the CCP has been able to infiltrate other companies and steal their technology. It's also pretty naive to think that the CCP is not going to militarize all of this technology and will only benefit mankind in the future. The Americans thought the same way about sharing virus gain of function technology with the Chinese, and now they are suffering from a virus which was created using this very technology, and unleased intentionally upon them by the CCP.
So who then is being myopic?

More political discussion on science and technology threads will obfuscate the important content and derail the thread as can be seen in numerous threads on this forum and many others. Moreover, I didn't say it has to be only about what I want. Chinese IP theft is a reality and there is nothing the world can do. The onus is on the others to prevent infiltration and IP theft. If you can get something for free without effort, why would they reinvent the wheel? Similar theft of critical technology happens all over the world since time immemorial.

Nobody is forcing you to read my posts; just ignore them if you don't want to be educated about what I am posting. But you cannot crush or remove everything you disagree with, which is what the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) bots are used to. They only want to show the shiny rockets and technology to keep the Chinese people and others brainwashed and in awe of their great CCP, and stop all discussion about if the technology has come from IP theft, or how it may be used by the CCP military in the future (space weapons).

However, the title of this thread is a contradiction in terms, because ultimately, everything Chinese is owned by the CCP, and there is no such thing in reality as Chinese private industry. The CCP is only sending a trojan horse in the form of so called "Chinese private space industry" to acquire dual use technologies through the private route from western corporations. That is why the IP theft is an important part of the discussion, instead of just hundreds of images of CCP propaganda media with shiny pictures of rockets and space stations. The fact that these technologies are dual use and hence most likely will be weaponized by CCP military is also an important part of the discussion.

If you don't want to take part in such discussion, be my guest. Everytime I post anything critical about the CCP, the CCP bots anyways cover it up with several CCP propaganda posts of images and videos that look shiny, but don't actually contribute to any kind of discussion: Hundreds of these shiny images are posted without any sort of useful discussion, and they are only there to keep people in awe of CCP's accomplishments. But you will never find the CCP bots or China fans complaining about them.

I make a few posts critical of the CCP, and the CCP bots and China fans are up in arms about how the posts should only be about technology with shiny propaganda images of rockets and space stations, and nothing critical should be said about how the technology was acquired, or what the CCP military may actually do with it in the future.

China’s wants to replace the United States as the dominant power in space, a new report warned, and to hold onto this position the Pentagon should consider having the Space Force protect freedom of navigation and communications in space.

The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission called out China’s aim to replace the United States as the premier power in space in its annual report released Nov. 14.

“China’s government and military are determined to meet ambitious goals for space leadership, if not dominance, and China has connected its space program with its broader ambitions to become a terrestrial leader in political, economic, and military power,” the report said. “Beijing aims to establish a leading position in the future space-based economy and capture important sectors of the global commercial space industry, including promoting its space industry through partnerships under what it has termed the ‘Space Silk Road.’”

The commission calls for Congress to direct the National Space Council to develop a strategy to counter efforts by China and Russia and ensure the United States remains the preeminent space power. The commission also recommends that the space domain be more fully integrated into all policy, training and exercises.

China’s growing space industry is fueled by intellectual property theft, the commission argued. Those efforts are bolstered by Chinese investments in U.S. space ventures via front companies as well as Chinese partnerships with American space-related research, which help funnel intellectual property back to the Chinese state and its military.

Additionally, the report cited China’s state support of space startups and predatory pricing of space services as contributing to its growth in the space domain.

“China is well-positioned to assume a commanding role in a future space-based economy, as its steps to dominate the global commercial launch and satellite sectors through generous subsidies and other advantages have already threatened to hollow out the U.S. space industrial base,” read the report.

In order to understand the consequences of China becoming economically dominant in the space domain, the commission wants answers to a number of questions, like whether space-based mining of precious minerals is economically viable and how the U.S. military plans to protect commercial communications satellites from Chinese aggression. In addition to the aforementioned queries, the commission wants the report to provide answers on the strategic value of cislunar space, a plan for a space commodities exchange, an interagency strategy to streamline and strengthen supply chains, and a plan to strengthen cooperation with partners and allies in space.

On the military side, China has both developed counterspace weapons and adopted dangerously escalatory offensive tactics in the space domain, warns the commission, and views dominance of space as a priority in conflict.

In response, the commission recommends the Pentagon ensure U.S. Space Command and the imminent Space Force are responsible for protecting freedom of navigation and communications in space, similar to how the U.S. Navy protects navigation and communications in the maritime commons. The commission further endorses efforts to increase survivability, redundancy, rapid replacement and disaggregation of space efforts in the National Defense Authorization Act.

China is also working to degrade one of the United State’s primary advantages in space — its international partnerships. China has worked to promote its international leadership in space and plans to build its own space station to replace the International Space Station, replacing the United States as the go to partner for human spaceflight.

Because of this, the report asks Congress to push the Trump administration to actively participate in international space governance institutions and strengthen partnerships in the space domain.

The report comes on the heels of growing warning from the U.S. military of China’s ambitions for space. Lt. Gen. Robert Ashley, the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, recently said that China was playing a game of Go in space, effectively summarizing their strategy as an attempt to gain territory and prevent others from doing the same. Ashley’s comments in turn follow unclassified DIA reports on China and threats to space released earlier this year.
