Maybe but China had brought actual American Blackhawks in the 1980s before the embargo and China began supplying its own parts to keep the S-70s running. In fact, there are still probably 40-year-old Blackhawks with People's Armed Police today which is like China's National Guard.

If you can make parts for aircraft under embargo since 1989, eventually you can make the whole aircraft. lol

Whats happening with the lockdown in Shanghai... Are these helis helpful at all in controlling ( i.e dumping them alive in a pit) the crowd asking for food and water ?

The Z-20 is coming to the Chinese Navy with all the carriers, LHDs and LPDs but the biggest winner for now is the Z-8/18 based on the licensed Super Frelon!
