In your own conviction.......The agenda displayed by censorship
What is allowed and what is not, and how does it reflect with CCP morals
What I mean is, the guidelines for something to be not greased by the censorship board(which you said not an independent body) in a nutshell if you will
Nobody likes the current censorship system, it actually stops more good movies been created. But like any other sectors, it's improving slowly ...

China's Communist Propaganda Rappers
China banned rap, then completely embraced it after they found out how to not only censor it, but use it for propaganda purposes.
Ya'll Nibbiars when we ban Chinese Product's. India is against development and when China threats to Bans Western product's. China supports free trade. This is just the Height's of the Hypocricats.

How is This Allowed on YouTube?
The reeducation camps in Xinjiang, where the Chinese government is wiping out the Uyghur people are starting to come to light. China is reacting with a terrible coverup, and forcing Uyghur people to have interviews to say how amazing their lives are, and how the west is wrong about the allegations of forced labor, and the other atrocities happening. UK Tribunal to investigate China’s alleged genocide and crimes against humanity against Uyghur and other Muslim population

China's Xinjiang Cotton Drama Explained
The Xinjiang cotton drama is exploding all over the internet. Chinese people en masse are boycotting H&M, Nike and tons of other brands, because they refused to use slave labor sourced cotton from Xinjiang. The Chinese government has used it as an opportunity to stoke nationalism against the rest of the world.

That okay
What I asked is
What is the agenda for something or some scene to be greased of a film by Censorship board of CCP, is it sexual content or being critical of the CCP or Mafia or something else

Sexual for sure, but from what i have seen, we are more open than bollywood movie, i watched the nude and breast from Titanic in Chinese cinema, and same level of contents in Chinese movie.

Mafia no problem, but finally the good guy / police must win.

For critical of CCP, you need be very skillful, not shitting the current CCP, but for past gernerations of CCP is OK.
On youtube u can find lots of them, if you like i would name you some.

Bollywood only had implied sex, Semi/no nudity
Except for OTT platforms and the censorship ends there pretty much except for some cultural thing
And nobody these days like Bollywood to be honest
They glorify the Mafia AF, Glorify Drug traffickers and Women Traffickers, sympathize with Islmic radical terrorists and stuff

One more thing, what do you think about the films bankrolled by the state which is used for propoganda purposes and general opinion of such films in the general public
Like Wulf Warrior for example

Movie industry is always an ideology tool, don't be naive, USA used it for decades.

CCP's problem is, those guys who manage this inudstry is old fashioned people born in 50s to 70s, they are born in pre internet time, and not skillful of "propoganda". That's why wolf warrior is pretty low quality "ideology tool" from my POV.

If you look at those young Chinese tycoons, they are much more skillful and smart. Do you know so far, 1/3 of Hollywood moives for last 5 yrs had Chinese capital like Wanda, Alibaba, Tencent group? How many years you didn't see any negative Chinese image right?

Let me give you three samples:

1. The "Green Book" is massively invested by Alibaba.

Alibaba Pictures-Backed ‘Green Book’ Wins 3 Oscars

2. If you watch the WWII movie "Midway", POLY BONA a branch of China's biggest PLA background group invested $80 million as biggest investor, and in the movie there were also some Chinese Force (from KMT, not CCP) resucing the USA pilots...

3. In Transformer 5 or 6, when Hong Kong is under attack, the header of HK is turning to centural government (CCP) asking for military support .. Paramount is invested by Alibaba group ...

I think by my generation like 80s and 90s, we will do it more like USA... Not as stupid as those people from Mao times ...

Aggressive, Embarrassing - China's "Wolf Warrior" Diplomats
Wolf Warrior diplomacy... You know there is a problem when China goes from "peaceful nation status", to literally borrowing a term for its diplomats from one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Hua Chunying and the gang are famously mean and nasty, and today I dive into why and what they are doing.

It's a soft power projection
Umrikis have been doing it since long time, the American Film industry has the power to influence anyone culturally within a period of time, as evident in several instances
But Wolf warrior you say low quality, I think both of them,(I have watched the American version dubbed in Hindi), as somewhat efficient propoganda tool in displaying atleast for the PLA or the Chinese Macho SF guys or even just giving the local public mental massages with superiority complex driven plot, that too set in Africa

Shein overtakes Amazon as the most installed shopping app in US

Shein‘s quiet rise has reached a crescendo as the fast fashion e-commerce app takes the crown from Amazon as the most downloaded shopping app on iOS and Android in the United States, according to data from app tracking firms App Annie and SensorTower.

Its ascent is quiet because the startup, despite reportedly exceeding a $15 billion valuation, maintains an unusually low profile and doesn’t try to make itself known to the media. The app, dubbed the “TikTok for e-commerce” by China-focused internet analyst Matthew Brennan in this thorough piece on the startup, manufactures in China as many apparel retailers do.

The difference is Shein controls its own production chain, from design and prototype to procurement to manufacturing. Each step is highly digitized and integrated with another, which allows the company to churn out hundreds of new products tailored to different regions and user tastes at a daily rate. The strategy is not unlike TikTok matching content creators with users by using algorithms to understand their habits in real-time.

On May 11, Shein became the top shopping app on Android by new downloads in the U.S., and six days later took the top spot on iOS as well, according to App Annie. It briefly topped the Android chart in late April. Shein also climbed to the No.1 place on the App Store chart, which measures a combination of downloads, velocity and a few other signals to determine ranks.

The origin of Shein, which was previously named “She Inside,” is little understood. On its official website, it describes itself as an “international B2C fast fashion e-commerce platform” founded in 2008. There is no mention of its founder and CEO Chris Xu. In a 2018 corporate blog posted on WeChat, it wrote that it was headquartered in Nanjing, an eastern Chinese city home known for its historical heritages and home to Chinese appliance giant Suning. It also opened offices in other major Chinese cities as well as the U.S., Belgium and the United Arab Emirates.

Shein’s low profile is perhaps expected in times of geopolitical tensions and heightened regulatory scrutiny over China-related tech companies around the world. Shein owns its sales channel and user data, which distinguishes it from the swathe of generic consumer brands relying on Amazon for customer acquisition without meaningful access to user data.

Last June, the Indian government banned Shein among 59 apps, including TikTok and WeChat, that it deemed “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.”

The company may also want to lay low and protect its secrets to success from rivals, suggested an investor focused on cross-border business. The race in China’s e-commerce export is highly competitive and it’s not uncommon to see, for example, Chinese sellers on Amazon sabotaging one another.

As of May 17, Shein was the top iOS shopping app in 54 countries and ranked top in the category on Android devices across 13 countries, according to App Annie. The app’s performance raises the question of how much it’s spending on marketing to outrival an entrenched giant like Amazon. The other question is how many of its downloads actually turn into active users.

Shein has not announced who its investors are, but Chinese media reports have listed JAFCO Asia, Greenwoods Asset Management, IDG Capital, Sequoia Capital China, Tiger Global, and Xiaomi founder’s Shunwei Capital among its backers.

Sequoia Capital China confirmed it’s an investor in Shein. Shein declined to comment for the story.

The story was updated with more context on Shein and rankings.

Looks there are lots of US and Chinnese VCs behind Shein.

Chinese companies have this operandi,
After stealing IP, patent the same stuff in China,
Because Chinese govt support IP theft.
This is why you see this "patents" which Chinese firms.
And In top50 you will find multiple Indian firms with original patents
