I am seeing a lot of guys here from Kerala, usually we in north have a feeling that kerala will become another kashmir, due to commies and radicalists, everyone is a woke commie etc, but seeing you all Keralites I can hope that saffron will fly high in Kerala.
It maybe the wrong thread to discuss this
But brother "oh how you are mistaken"
Just visit our state capital for a day and you'll see

Honestly though
I can see that The ladies with the traditional wear are far better looking than the ones aping the westerners
Both are hugely popular around Asia.

It is funny that you say the modern casual wear from China as aping Westerners.

The Douyin street fashion videos are viral outside China because they are seen as very different from the West!

"
These videos consist of slow-mo clips of people dressed in fabulous clothes casually walking down the streets of Chinese cities like Chengdu, Beijing and Shanghai. The songs, “I Like Him” by Princess Nokia or “How You Like That” by Blackpink’s plays in the background, making them seem even cooler. After walking down the street, the fashion icon will give a subtle stare into the camera with a mysterious almost “oh didn't see ya there” look on their face.

Their outfits are unlike anything we have seen in America, which I think is what intrigues us as viewers even more. When walking down the streets of NYC or LA, you see someone either dressed in a plain business suit, Lululemon leggings, or shorts and a t-shirt.

The truth is you won't find many Americans or Europeans dressed like these even though to you they seem Western. It is modern East Asian.

The clothes are shaped for Chinese/East Asian bodies. Most non-East Asian girls won't fit!

Of course the Han Fu or Qipao is more obviously East Asian because the world was more isolated then. But modern East Asian wear is simply a point in time of Asian fashion just like the Han Fu was.

It should not! Indians should love their own girls and standards.

What I post is only to show the trends and standards of China since we are in the China forum. I fully expect Indians to find us ugly whether in casual or traditional wear or bikinis! But this is us :)

No matter how much you whine about west but the fact is you have completely fallen to consumerism and narcissism of the west. Soon, China will look like South Korea, which already looks like a yellow skinned western state , where the only place you will find Chinese civilisation will be in their museums with the young chinese deracinated to the point that they don’t want to connect with their civilisation even in a special day like wedding. Like Temple of Heaven 600 years old real chinese masterpiece which has now been reduced to a spot for securing wedding photographs topkek.

Lmao in a high-level meeting with several yahudis [Frank Coe, Israel Epstein, Elsie Fairfax-Cholmely, and Solomon Adler] Coe was one of the yahudis responsible for the Great Leap Foreword the engineered famine which killed forty million chinese.

owo.jpg

Sidney Shapiro, Israel Epstein and Chen Bidi getting a birthday party thrown by the politburo for killing 60 million chinese.

owo.jpg

David Rockefeller yahudi and high ranking Chinese Communist leader Zhou Enlai in 1973 for congratulating 60 million kills. He says :

‘Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose. The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao’s leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history’.– David Rockefeller

Chinese civilization is long dead. Chinese are fast loosing their connect with their 4000 years old civilisation and are now being reduced to being merely a cheap copy of the yellow skinned west, same civilization less west which is itself a decaying cucked degrading society. The west never had any civilization in the history of human kind and now china wants to be the new cheap western knock off.

Aint these one of your vermin "foreign influences" in china ?
Well, there are more Chinese tourists in the world than anyone else. There are more Chinese international students than anyone else. They are bringing back foreign ideas and trends all the time. If China consider outside influences vermin then we would not have such volumes of people traveling and studying overseas. China is not like the USSR. lol

China is the pre-eminent trading nation so by nature it has to be open to as many other countries as possible. But I do not think Indians understand this.

I don't think China whines much about the West. Unlike India, China is attacked by the West for being a rival so obviously there are reactions. But China doesn't stop importing Hollywood films or French luxury goods. It doesn't lock itself out of global trends otherwise you would fall behind as a trading nation.

South Korea is a closely related culture to China (just as Japan is.) China will end up fairly close to it when it reaches the same income levels. Funny thing is Korea is heavily Korean though modernized. KPOP is sung in Korean not English.

China is even more into the local language than Koreans because our media are all on Chinese platforms. The Han Fu trend in China is an industry powered by Chinese movies and dramas that is massive in dollar terms (many times bigger than Bollywood.) And it is growing in East/Southeast Asia (as most of these Chinese traditional dress videos on YT are posted by Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, etc. who have watched Chinese historical dramas.)

The fashion trends in China (and Korea) include modern ones that are influenced by the world but they aren't the same as those elsewhere. The fact they are different is why the Chinese Street Fashion videos are such a hit in the West.

Non-East Asians literally can't wear the fashions in China because of body types alone.

Both traditional and modern wear are hugely popular in China (and the Sinosphere) and exist simultaneously alongside one another. I think Indians couldn't grasp this East Asian duality :)

The problem with you guys is you think yourself as smartest in the room , but nothing more than a douchebag , not just local language and clothes , your wedding tradition are going away ,except for some photoshoot , you don't know how your culture developed , thise clothing trend are all bs , you just bring economy and buisness to every discussion , 12 years down the line if some new trend come in ,you will follow that replacing whatever your tradition us left in these trends , don't compare youself with japan , you think that open society BS are some good excuse , your government is too much communist , only good thing happened to you was economy growth , you are sacrificing your culture for buisness , how will you identify your roots after 20 or so years , your society is protected because of restrictions from firewall , if you let leftist bullshit penetrate and protest are allowed , you will be same rotten society as US , europe .
Go the same way like now , bear consequences later , nobody give a fuck about you .

Ok. China is trading nation what can we say? We like creating wealth!

No worries. The Chinese movie, fashion and drama industries are massive so Chinese traditional culture will be around and growing for a long time!

This traditional Chinese folklore animation grossed $740M! (Is there a traditional Indian movie that comes close to that figure?)

This was the most watched drama in Asia, it was about Chinese princesses scheming and killing each other (very unlike Disney princesses!!!):

And Han Fu is so so popular on social media across Asia and among young Chinese! Watch this traditional dress festival!

I don't understand why you would think that Chinese culture is going away. Our food, clothes and entertainment are very Chinese and, unlike Indians, English not very prevalent so that culture is not diffused by a foreign language.

POTUS Trump‘s uncle: John G. Trump

Mr. John Trump (1907–1985), the uncle of Donald Trump, as a professor in MIT, he helped his student Zhao Zhongyao who was a Chinese nuclear physicist to get an electrostatic proton accelerator. Zhao later went back to China and became an important member in China’s research group of nuclear weapons. Therefore, John Trump helped China successfully develop nuclear weapons.
