So have nations that accepted Indian vaccines including India itself. India has the third highest total vaccinations after China and the US. When people see the carnage happening in India now, should they dismiss Indian vaccines? Of course not. Both you and I know that it is a matter of vaccination rate versus loosening social distancing.Nations which accepted Chinese vaccines have seen cases rising in their country.
The data from Chile and Brazil where vaccination are high shows high efficacy and prevention.
The success of the Brazil experiment in the Wall Street Journal story is posted above. But that story along with the EU evaluation of Sinovac gets loss in the anti-Chinese sloganeering.
The EU is evaluating the vaccine because it sees potential in it from the studies in Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia and Turkey. Sinovac hadn't even applied in the EU yet but it still caught EU attention as a possible vaccine for Europe. If it sucks as much as the sloganeer believes then the EU would not waste its time.

"THE HAGUE, Netherlands -- The European Union’s drug regulator announced Tuesday that it has started a rolling review of China’s Sinovac coronavirus vaccine to assess its effectiveness and safety, a first step toward possible approval for use in the 27-nation bloc.
The European Medicines Agency said Tuesday that its decision to start the review is based on preliminary results from laboratory studies and clinical studies.
“These studies suggest that the vaccine triggers the production of antibodies” that fight the coronavirus “and may help protect against the disease,” the agency said in a statement.
The EMA, which so far has approved four coronavirus vaccines, added that no application seeking marketing authorization for the Sinovac vaccine has been submitted yet."
