China is providing the financial resources, technology, and market demand (from China's vast $10 trillion market) to grow its neighbor's economy in Tajikistan.

China is responsible for an astonishing 81.2% of the foreign direct investment (FDI) into Tajikistan. Without China's FDI, Tajikistan's economy would have remained stagnant.

Tajikistan is totally in China's sphere now.
As the economic clout grows, China will be able to close Indian logistics base in Farkhor within foreseeable future.

By the time China closes Indian base in Tajikistan (allegedly) Porkistani failed state will surely further disintegrate into smaller failed states and US will be drilling Oil in South China Sea (SCS) off the coast of Vietnam and Philippines.

Farkhor is only for name, not really active. India utilizes Ayani base mostly.
Second, Tajikistan isn't only point for Indian Presence in Central Asia. Heard about Kazakhstan?
