Why China not using their own JF-17 in their arsenal???:sad::sad::sad:
JF17 suits smaller country with limited budget. China have a mass land to defend, PLAAF sure don't want to replace J7 which can hardly fly 1000km away from its airport with another plane with similar range. That's for one.

JF17 is to small to have sufficient weapon load according to Chinese requirement or to accommodate more sophisticated avionics to upgrade or to expand its capabilities.

RD93 is a russian engine. China sure don't want to deal with another russian engine in addition to AL31
