I think this is not a "expert" view of technology evaluation. They maybe partially technically generic, but the fighter is not an aviation model. You will know there are 400+ J-10 already in operation, about IVA not serve in any Air ForceIt has been quite a few more than 20 years...

another 'old' fellow of PLAN destroyer fleet -- the DDG136 , the first of four Sovremenny-class has just finished a 3- year mid-life overhaul and upgrade after 15 years active service in east sea fleet.
the Fregat is also replaced by the Type382/Sea Eagle S/C...there were 8 sets of Fregat in the Navy (4 sets on Project 956, 2 on Type 51C, 2 on Type 52B). ...now seven left and it would phasing out in the MLU of these vessels , the next one will go is on the DDG137...her MLU is about to begin.

I am more interested to see the picture of jiang zeming paying visit to j10 in the 1990sOn this day, 20 years, 2 upgraded variants and 400+ airframes ago at 1441hrs, the J10 prototype had its first flight:

PLAN Ship of the day: FFG542 Tongling, the last of the Type 053H2G class
Out of the original four JiangWei I class frigates, only the Tongling remains with the PLAN. The first three were transferred to the China Coast Guard in 2015. Now with her equipment removed, it seems that she will be joining her three sisters shortly.

Nope....She will be handed over to Cambodia as the reliable source said. she joined in Navy in 1994 and had a complete maintenance/overhaul record during her 24 years active service. it might be able to serve another two decades
the sensitive equipment on board for the PLAN only is being removed...and the outdated HQ-61 SAM might be replaced by FL-3000N.
