It is a 039A. There are no Yuan's in the SSF who operate these tunnel sub basesimho this pic is a bit tricky.....most likely photoshopped...
1 cant tell the type of the sub on the left but quite sure its not a 039A....maybe 039B (also called 041 yuan by some)....
2 the sub on the right has some weird signs....eg the part it connects sea water seems to be way to flat (like a direct cut from some other pic)....no waves and white color water and what so ever like the sub on the left which is surely real.......
3 the left side of the bottom part of the tunnel has a square shape wedge thing which should be a hallmark of photoshop work.....
4 i reckon the only real part is sea water+039B on the left.....the mountain and 091 should be pasted from other pics.....
5 my logic is if site like this is exposed publicly our national security is in danger.....
Or that maybe another gift for our Comrade Pinkov to put on his magazine. It is a 039A. There are no Yuan's in the SSF who operate these tunnel sub bases
There is no wake because the sub isnt moving.. Look again, its docked. Why would two subs be trying to enter the same tunnel at once?
And believe me, the Americans probably knew about Hainan's sub tunnels way before they were built...
There are many speculation that PLAN is about to complete this stage of "Quick march w/ small steps" (å°æ¥å¿«è·‘). Yet, I had NOT been able to see the standardization of equipments that people kept talking. For example,Detailed shots of the cold launch VLS on the Type 052C
What is there to be cautious with HHQ-16? It is one of the most tested systems in existence. It is the Buk missile. China doesn't want to be reliant on more Russian weapons so they wait for their own.Guess there are only two explanation: i) PLAN still be cautious for new equipment even those already in mass production, like HHQ16. Or, PLAN had been saving on every weaponary, i.e. NO waste
