And right after the two surprises J-20B & J-35 (3) last week, here is the next one: The first clear image of the two so far known KJ-600 prototypes. One is spotting the now common green primer and the other one is already painted in PLAN grey.

And as if this third surprise is not enough ... there are even more surprises: Altogether two WS-20 powered Y-20B are visible together with several more regular Y-20A transports and Y-20U tanker.

Altogether there are 13 Y-20s and 9 H-6s along with the two KJ-600s. A lot of planes!

And the real heavy ramp-up of Y-20 production hasn't even begun yet! That will happen next year with the WS-20 as the standard engine :

Economy of scale.

I can count around 10+ Y20s. The similar plane C17 India spent billions of USD, and this money didn't circulate in their own economy and industry

No more C-17 being produced anymore. Y-20 production will be going strong for a long time :)

Saudi Arabia had bought a production line of a variant of the TB001 (their second of a Chinese drone -- SA have local production license for 300 CH-4s.)

Chinese are always in a haste to copy Re-manufacture military hardware and sell it countries with less or no money. These are look alike of western hardware but not quite as good. Almost all countries who have purchased Chinese military hardware have complained, although it was sold to them at half price. Reports of Bangladesh having that difficulty are circulating in the media these days. Chinese supplied sniper rifles, submarines, and other hardware have run into quality difficulty with no recourse to fix anything. The western fix is twice as expensive to Chinese fix and most nations do not wish to return to same problems as before with Chinese fix, hence problem has arisen.

Much of the Chinese supplied hardware to Pakistan is in similar state, but friendly Pakistan does not complain or loose Chinese money fed into Pakistani economy will go missing.

‘’These are all India’s advantage. Malfunctioning Chinese hardware becomes no threat to India. Also Chinese reputation to supply anything working for long is gone for ever.

‘Quality matters more than the numbers. Also, It has been proven time and again that it does not matter how many numbers, Chinese have in their naval force, if they have not learnt to fight in deep sea, they are likely to hit the deep see bottom not during the battle but at the first shot of the battle.
