Your data is wrong.

Median age:
China: 37.4
India: 28.1

During 2004, our Indian friends blow up India is world office and China is world sweatshop, China's GDP was 2.5 times than India.

During 2008, our Indian friends blow up China will be killed by the debt trap, China's GDP was 4 times than India.

Now it's 2021, our Indian friends blow up India's demographics bonus, China's GDP is 6 times than India.

Can our Indian friends do something else than keep making bubbles?
I am sure your source of data is again some CCP hand out.

Rest, what we said long time is true.. coupled with forced slave labor of Uighurs , chine is world sweatshop best known for making rubber dicks and silicon pussies.. .. apparently chinese girls cannot tolerate a fully grown up man and majority of chinese struggle to penetrate anyways.. so both these fill each other nicely...

while india is happily dominating Silicon valley and world software industry....now take that GDP, ensure its lubricated with ur gutter oil from wuhan, roll it and shove it up ur ass ...

FYI, do not click on any links or download any media provided by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) 50 cent internet propaganda army ladyboys (even those pretending to be girls) pimping out bikini pictures and videos, as they may have CCP trackers and/or viruses.

China’s Crackdown on Foreigners and “Hostile Forces” | China Uncensored
Living in China just got a lot harder. The Chinese Communist Party is cracking down on interactions between Chinese people and foreigners using espionage, national security, and spying as an excuse to spy on people living in China. It also means big trouble for Western companies operating in China. So the China economy will get a bump while the US economy will take a hit. US China relations continue their downward spiral.

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) bots are too stupid to understand that total GDP does not matter if the bulk of it is held by the top 10 percent of the population. In China, the top 10 percent of the population (Chinese Communist Party and friends in big cities) keep 70 percent of the GDP, while the poorer 50 percent of the population lives on 10 percent of the GDP, meaning they are dirt poor. And even that is according to statistics already watered down by the CCP (does not include taxes paid to CCP), and does not include the millions of slaves in prison camps made up of minorities like Falun Gong members, Uyghurs, Tibetans, Mongolians, political prisoners, protestors against CCP (like from Hong Kong), common Chinese people imprisoned unfairly, etc. The bulk of the wealth made by the CCP and friends in big cities comes from two sources: First, from forced labor by imprisoned people, minorities as well as from other exploited workers as well as sale of their organs after they are murdered by the CCP. And secondly, by sending CCP agents to other countries to steal intellectual property (IP). Most Chinese students and workers in other countries are CCP agents who are sent there to steal IP from foreign universities and companies. These CCP agents in other countries have to do what the CCP tells them to do, otherwise their families are sent to prison. But even the profits from that IP theft are kept by the wealthy CCP and friends in big cities. So while the CCP and friends in big cities get rich, the rest of the Chinese population gets poorer as a result of inflation caused by the top 10 percent getting richer as well as keeping all of the profits to themselves.
But the common Chinese people cannot complain, just as they could not complain when the CCP used them as guinea pigs to spread the Wuhan bioweapon virus to the rest of the world, while the CCP punished doctors that tried to tell the people about it. Shi Zhengli and her team at the Wuhan lab were working on making bat coronavirus' Spike protein more sticky before the Covid outbreak in Wuhan (look at their published papers). They succeeded, because the Covid virus causes damage to all organs of the body by causing blood clots throughout the body; this is a result of the Spike protein being sticky enough to cause blood clots. This is exactly what the Wuhan lab was working on, when the outbreak occurred. But CCP hid the truth from the Chinese people in Wuhan, and punished people like Dr. Li Wenliang for speaking out, because the CCP wanted to use the Chinese travellers as virus carriers to spread the bioweapon to the US and other countries. The CCP did not care about the dying people in Wuhan; it was more important for them to cover up the truth.

But the common people in Wuhan cannot protest against something like that, or speak up against the CCP. Because if they did, them and their families would also be imprisoned or be killed for their organs, just like Uyghurs, Tibetans, Mongolians, Falun Gong members, protestors against CCP (like from Hong Kong), political prisoners and other common Chinese people unjustly imprisoned by the CCP.

CCP parties in their big cities with money that they stole from hard working Chinese workers and IP theft from other countries. Doesn't matter what the total GDP number is, if only CCP keeps all the profits. And if anyone protests against this, the CCP make them disappear into prisons, or kill them for their organs.

Actions have consequences, sooner or later:
EU-China investment deal put on ice over sanctions
The EU's long-time-coming investment deal with China is facing major hurdles. The EU's economy commissioner says diplomatic tensions have made conditions for the deal "unfavorable."
A diplomatic spat between the European Union and China has jeopardized a major investment agreement, officials said on Tuesday.

EU Commission Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis told AFP news agency that efforts to win approval for the deal were effectively on ice.

"We now in a sense have suspended ... political outreach activities from the European Commission side," Dombrovskis said in an interview.

"It's clear in the current situation with the EU sanctions in place against China and Chinese counter sanctions in place, including against members of European Parliament (that) the environment is not conducive for ratification of the agreement," Dombrovskis said.

A spokesperson for the European Commission told DW that the ratification process had not begun, and was subject to a legal review.

The spokesperson said the ratification process was now effectively paused as it "cannot be separated from the evolving dynamics of the wider EU-China relationship."

Chinese sanctions were "unacceptable and regrettable," the spokesperson added.

What is the EU-China agreement?

Brussels and Beijing signed a new investment agreement in 2020 intended to guarantee a stable framework of conditions for trade and investment in each other's markets.

The EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) was signed in December after seven years of negotiation.

To enter into force, it must still be ratified by EU member states and the European Parliament, where it faces massive opposition.

The pact would offer European companies access to Chinese markets and facilitate Chinese investment in Europe. It also sets level playing field rules that prevent state assistance from undercutting competition, and sustainable development provisions.

Why have relations deteriorated?

In March, the EU imposed sanctions against China for its treatment of the Uyghur Muslim minority in the Xinjiang region. These were the first human rights sanctions against China since the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.

In response, Beijing immediately announced counter-sanctions against members of the European Parliament, and others.

Doubts have been raised about the deal in recent months, with experts and human rights advocates calling on the EU to ditch the deal.

#110 Is China Committing “Genocide” Against the Uyghur Muslims?
The world debates whether what the Chinese Communist Party is doing to Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang, China is genocide. The US China relationship is strong thanks to decades of elite capture in Wall Street and Capitol Hill. Will the Biden Administration stand up for the Uyghurs? Woke propaganda to make China follow the West's path to destruction on terrorists.

I think we all already know who the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propagandists here are, and the evidence about CCP torturing Uyghurs as discussed in the video is already widely known. That is why I posted the discussion after the news article about the cancellation of the Euro-China economic deal. The Europeans cancelled the deal as well as put sanctions on Chinese officials citing the mistreatment of Uyghurs and other minorities in Chinese prisons and forced labor in slave labor camps. But don't worry, I will keep posting plenty of evidence here to show everyone the truth about CCP's evil ways.

China has just as many poor as India; the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is just better at hiding the poverty through the use of censorship, policing and state controlled media. CCP uses lower standards of measuring poverty than the world bank, threatens the poor to gather signatures and makes up data along with censorship and brainwashing of the people through state media, as well as presenting fake data and propaganda to the world. China has tens of millions of people in its prisons, slave labor camps and hidden minority areas being put through torture and forced labor who are hidden from the world and not even counted in any statistics. These people live an existence worse than the poorest of the poor in the world as they are forced to work for free, tortured and killed for their organs, but Chinese censorship and state control by police hide that from the world.

Chinese Communist Party is just better at fudging the numbers and forcing people's signatures on forms under threat, to create fake data. First they use outdated standards to measure poverty, then they fudge the numbers. But brainwashed CCP bots don't know about it because they are only exposed to CCP propaganda, and don't have access to the truth.

Shifting standards

Beijing continues to use World Bank standards for the world’s poorest nations even though it is classified as an upper-middle-class country.

China defines extreme rural poverty as annual per capita income of less than $620, or about $1.69 a day at current exchange rates, according to Reuters.

That compares to the World Bank’s global threshold of $1.90 a day.

“In 2021 … measuring progress using the official poverty lines of the world’s poorest countries as a benchmark may be the very definition of underachievement,” wrote Brookings Institution economist Indermit Gill.

The ceremony “and the associated party propaganda are aimed at painting Xi Jinping as the victorious commander leading China to success in its millennia-long battle against poverty and allowing him to claim personal credit for this accomplishment,” Carl Minzner, a professor at Fordham Law School who specializes in Chinese law and governance, told Bloomberg.

“This will have dramatic ramifications in terms of Xi’s personal power, the extent to which a cult of personality surrounding Xi will be tacitly or directly encouraged,” he said.

Xi and the official media remained largely silent about more than four decades of market-style economic reforms that began with opening China to foreign investment after the Cultural Revolution.
Doubts raised

The money flows through China’s Rural Subsistence Allowance System based on an application, its review and approval, and distribution of funds, a process that moves through China’s three basic levels of rural governance — village to township to county.

Rural households apply for subsidies by providing township officials with household registration, disability documents and endorsement from their village governments. The paperwork goes to grassroots level administrative offices such as department of civil affairs.

Township officials review the applications and submit them to county-level government officials for approval.

If approved, an applicant’s money is dispersed on a monthly basis to a designated account in a rural bank or credit union, which does not charge management fees. Each recipient receives an allowance card that works like a debit card, allowing cash withdrawal as needed.

Temporary or one-time living subsidies — such as those granted for holidays — are paid to households in full if all requirements are met.

Huang Xiaomin, a rights activist in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, told VOA Mandarin that, in some places, records used by Xi and other top officials can be inflated.

In Sichuan province, for example, many residents of Heshu town in Peng’an county appear to have received social security and health care benefits. But, the activist said, the reality is different because several people in one family share the money that arrives as a cash payment or bank transfer.

According to Huang, the one-month minimum living allowance for one person is about $42 to $56. When shared among four or five family members of one household, each person got about $11, he said.

“It’s definitely not enough to get out of poverty. But under pressure from the government, [unless the poor people] sign their names to claim everyone has got the full amount, they won’t get any money,” he told VOA’s Mandarin Service “So there’s definitely adulteration."

Maintaining stability

Xi’s messaging Thursday contrasts with a statement by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang last May.

“There are over 600 million people whose monthly income is barely 1,000 yuan (USD $140), not enough to rent a room in Chinese cities,” he said at his annual press conference.

Xia Ming, professor of political science at the City University of New York, said he now expects CCP loyalists to parrot Xi's questionable claims about the success of China's poverty alleviation efforts, and possibly work to generate supporting evidence.

“Because Xi Jinping wants to focus on poverty alleviation as his core work, of course officials at all levels and propaganda departments would desperately try to put feathers in his cap," he said.

Before Thursday's ceremony, several Chinese state news outlets described poverty alleviation as "an epic picture of China's anti-poverty campaign."

Wu Qiang, former lecturer in the political department at Tsinghua University, told VOA that Xi's declaration shows he has nothing else to highlight in his eight years in power. He said declaring the end of poverty is a way to maintain stability in the face of income inequality.

In the past, anti-poverty campaigns in China, such as increased spending on rural schools and health care, sought to close the gap between a visible minority that had profited from economic reform and the majority of people who had not, according to the Associated Press.

“In the market economy, China's rich and poor are divided to an unprecedented extent," said Wu. "...Xi's efforts to alleviate poverty are in fact for political security and the need for stability. Xi's publicity is in fact to show other Party leaders that he has the ability to solve the urgent problems of instability through poverty alleviation and prevent the potential impact on the Party.”
I have already given data on previous pages that show that the poorer 50 percent of China gets 10 percent of the GDP. That is at least 700 million people that are poor. And all this is according to data provided by the CCP itself and probably watered down due to censorship, policing and state-controlled propaganda, media and reporting.

Then there are the tens of millions people that are in the Chinese prisons and concentration camps that are not counted and live lives worse than the poorest of the poor and are forced to work for free, tortured and killed for their organs. They have no rights.

A good example of evil the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) really is: The CCP is raising prices of drug components it exports to India in the middle of the pandemic when India really needs these drugs. This after CCP cancelled Chinese state run Sichuan airlines cargo flights which usually transported these supplies (several flights per day), delaying essential medical supplies to India, as well as creating bottleneck in the supply of APIs for manufacture of drugs. India should file a complaint with the world trade organization (WTO) against China.

After cancelling Sichuan airlines flights, Chinese Communist Party is raising the prices of drug components (APIs) that India sources from China along with causing shortages in the supplies:

Pharma sector facing shooting prices of raw materials: Assocham

The pharma sector is facing shooting prices and shortage of raw materials, known as active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), as 85 per cent of them come from China, Assocham said on Tuesday.

It sought government's intervention in clearing the bottleneck in the import.
"Such practices are not acceptable during these challenging times when the whole country is fighting a battle against the pandemic. We urge an immediate intervention from authorities to take necessary action against this practice," Assocham Chairman of Northern Region Development Council A.S. Mittal said in a statement.

The drugs for which the raw material cost has gone up multifold include paracetamol (price from Rs 350 to Rs 790 per kg), propylene glycol (from Rs 140 to Rs 400 per kg) ivermectin (from Rs 18,000 to Rs 52,000 per kg) doxycycline (from Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000 per kg) and azithromycin (from Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 per kg).

Jitender Sodhi, Assocham Chairman of Himachal Pradesh State Development Council, said, "The economic impact of the Covid-19 second wave has started taking a toll on pharma sector as well.

Pharma grade raw materials should be supplied to manufacturers uninterrupted through provision of special passes and green passes can help in curbing the problem of shortage of raw material."

Call on action for mandatory fixing of base prices on per km basis for transportation vehicles and ambulances indulged in the services of Covid-19 should be taken by the government, which can help in cost cutting of raw material, he added.

Asia's biggest pharmaceutical hub -- Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh (BBN) in Himachal Pradesh, producing several primary life-saving, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and Covid-19 drugs, is facing problem in procuring active pharmaceutical ingredients.

"This industrial belt is the backbone of India in the current Covid war. The unprecedented price hike and shortage of raw material due to various reasons has resulted in a huge demand and supply gap for these drugs.

The government should intervene to streamline the availability and the transportation of raw material as most of the active pharmaceutical ingredients are imported from outside India," said Manik Batra, Assocham Chairman of J&K Development Council.

The Chinese state-owned Sichuan Airlines has also suspended its cargo services to India for 15 days following the second wave of Covid-19. This, many industrial units in the BBN, fear will add to the problems.

"The entire country is facing a difficult time, when we cannot afford price hike in pharmaceuticals. The government should intervene and control the rising cost of raw materials of pharmaceuticals.

Subsidies in raw material and transport can be a big help," added Vijay Sharma, Assocham Chairman of Haryana State Development Council.
Pharma industry warns of Covid drug shortages as raw materials prices surge 200%
Pharma firms say suspension of cargo from China has resulted hoarding, driving up prices of raw materials, seek govt intervention immediately.

This is what I was worried about. The Chinese Communist Party has hit India's drug supply at the worst possible time. The token gestures and window dressing of videos of packing boxes of supplies are just for show.

For context:
India Fights Covid: Russia's Medical Aid; US Sends Emergency Supplies; China Blocks US Aid To India
Russia has now come to India's aid in the fight against the coronavirus and sends out two planes full of medical supplies, including 20 units of oxygen-producing equipment and more. On the other hand, United States has also sent emergency supplies to India. China's state-run Sichuan Airlines has suspended all its cargo flights to India for 15 days, causing major disruption to private traders' efforts to procure the much-needed oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies from the country despite Beijing reiterating its readiness to help India to deal with the latest surge of Covid-19 cases.
The Sichuan airlines suspension has created a two-fold problem. The first and more immediate one is that there are delays in emergency supplies which were needed in India yesterday, such as supplies for patients on oxygen, as many patients in India have died due to lack of oxygen supplies. In this case supplies are being rerouted and will eventually get there, but the delays mean that there will also be additional delays by the time the supplies reach the hospitals, and many patients may not survive by then.

Thankfully India is getting supplies from other countries, but even these supplies have to be rerouted through other destinations, which are leading to delays.

Corona: China stopping medical supplies to India, USISPF claims
Story Highlights USISPF said - China is a big hurdle in the battle of Corona USISPF India to give 1
jagrantimes.in
jagrantimes.in

  • USISPF said – China is a big hurdle in the battle of Corona
  • USISPF India to give 1 lakh oxygen concentrators
  • USISPF proposal, India gets vaccine from US
When India is plagued by the second wave of Corona and only the scene of destruction is being seen everywhere, now the whole world is also coming forward to help India. If oxygen is being supplied from a country, then oxygen tankers are being ordered from somewhere. Every country is helping India on its behalf. America, the superpower of the world, has also come with India in this difficult time. All the necessary help is also being provided from their side.
USISPF said – China is a big hurdle in the battle of Corona
In this episode, Mukesh Aghi, CEO of US business group USISPF, while talking to Aaj Tak has told that one lakh oxygen concentrators will be given to India on their behalf. At the same time, by the end of May, India will get 31000 thousand oxygen concentrators from the USISPF. He has emphasized that in this difficult time, America stands with India and every kind of help will be given. But on behalf of Mukesh Aghi it has also been told that the whole world wants to help India, but China is becoming a big obstacle in it.
USISPF India to give 1 lakh oxygen concentrators
In the interview, Mukesh has stated that a shipment sent by the USISPF was intercepted from the Chinese side. At that time, it was argued that from China, cargo aircraft with India were banned. But due to this attitude of China, many medical items could not be supplied to the country in time.
Now the CEO of USISPF is also pointing this way and considering China as a major obstacle in this battle of Corona. It has been informed by the CEO that there is a plan to bring 1000 oxygen concentrators to India through Japan.
By the way, before this, help has been offered by the American merchant group. It has been claimed by the USISPF that in the Corona era, India is going to get help on a large scale very soon. At the same time, oxygen will be supplied to every state in the country, where it is most needed.
Delhi has also been included in this list. At the same time, many other US companies have been appealed by the USISPF to deliver everything from ICU beds to N-95 masks to India in this difficult time. Confidence has been expressed that India is going to get a big relief by May.
India gets vaccine from US: USISPF
It is known that at this time the USISPF is not only sending the necessary medical supplies to India, but a proposal is also being made in front of the Biden government on their behalf. It is being said that India should be given a vaccine on a large scale. On the other hand, if he is not able to do so due to the Defense Production Act, then at least 20 million doses of vaccine should be left for India. When the production of the vaccine increases in India by the end of the year, then it will be returned.

Chinese carrier Sichuan Airlines stopping flights may hit pharma imports, says industry
Citing that the decision by the Chinese owned airlines suspending its cargo services to India for 15 days "worrisome", the Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (IDMA) has written to the external affairs ministry to intervene.
economictimes.indiatimes.com
economictimes.indiatimes.com

The second longer term problem is because much of the APIs were being transported by the Chinese airlines earlier through direct routes (many flights per day), and the suspension can hit these long term supplies for the drug industry by creating bottlenecks:

India urges China to clear bottlenecks on key pharma raw-material
The Pharmexcil director-general Ravi Uday Bhaskar wrote to Indian Ambassador in China Vikram Misri for an immediate intervention in the backdrop of the decision of the Chinese state-owned Sichuan Airlines to suspend its cargo services to India for 15 days following the second wave of Covid-19.
economictimes.indiatimes.com
economictimes.indiatimes.com

Pharmexcil fears that the decision of the Chinese airlines would have cascading effects on the entire supply chain, leading to a shortage of essential medicines for not just for India’s domestic needs but also adversely affect its pharmaceutical exports to meet the global needs in the time of the pandemic.
And after creating these problems for the Indian people, the Chinese Communist Party mocks India's suffering as shown in the post above:
The real "cultural values" of Chinese Communist Party and its CCP bot followers:
How China mocks the Covid-19 crisis in India, using pictures of cremations & its own rocket launch
As Chinese media openly mocks India’s battle against Covid-19, Shekhar Gupta explains what led them to using India’s Covid crisis as a means to promote their propaganda, how the country jailed a large number of journalists in Wuhan, and why the Chinese love Trevor Noah, in ep 740 of #CutTheClutter.

Adding insult to injury after Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was the one to attack India with the Wuhan Institute of Virology - created bioweapon virus in the first place. CCP was the one that helped spread the virus throughout the world by covering up its existence while allowing international travel of Chinese carriers of the virus to India, US and other countries.

You know, all this slavery stuff about China is just American "woke" views being forced on the rest of the world for dealing with muslim terrorism.

Xinjiang hadn't had a terrorist attack in four years. Before putting a lot of the religious nutcases in jail, they were stabbing people in train stations, killing young Han women for wearing revealing clothes and planting bombs at Thai temples to kill Chinese tourists. All that has stopped.

The choice is to either succumb to "woke" American pressure that will lead to death and terrorism or safety and security. No wonder Chinese choose the second.

I have no doubt that this "woke" campaign will get some "woke" western companies to leave China. But better that than to allow terrorists free reign because of American "wokeness."
But only two terrorist attacks were done in China by Uighurs

Beijing is lying: At least three internment camps still operative in Xinjiang

They are located in Uchturpan county, and are home to more than 20,000 Uyghur inmates, about 10% of the local population. A few days ago, on a visit to Europe, Wang Yi declared that all "education centers" had been closed. US website: 268 fortified structures built in the region since 2017. The international community protests.

Beijing (AsiaNews / Agencies) - At least three internment camps, with more than 20,000 Uyghur prisoners, are still in operation in Xinjiang. Their existence was confirmed to Radio Free Asia by two police officers from Uchturpan county, home of the offending structures.
The news repudiates recent statements by the Chinese authorities that the detention centers - educational institutions for Beijing - have all been closed. On August 30, during a visit to France, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that all the people housed in these institutions have finished their studies and have found employment.
According to expert data, confirmed by the United Nations, over one million Uyghurs (out of a population of nearly 10 million) and other Turkish-speaking Islamic minorities are arbitrarily detained in Xinjiang, which the local population calls "East Turkestan".
Human rights activists and many governments, including the United States and the European Union, describe the detention facilities as real concentration camps used to indoctrinate the Uyghur population. The Chinese authorities admitted the centers existed in October 2018, arguing, however, that they are vocational training centers to educate Uyghur citizens, especially young people, against terrorism, separatism and Islamic extremism.
The three internment camps indicated by Uchturpan police officers are home to about 10% of the county's Uyghur population (235,000 people). In the largest facility, the Kongtai center, more than 10 thousand local Muslims are reportedly interned.
These latest revelations about Chinese concentration camps come just days after Buzzfeed, a US website, reported that Xinjiang authorities have built 268 fortified structures since 2017: at least one for each county. The calculation was made through the use of satellite data.
Beijing is increasingly under pressure from the international community for its policies in Xinjiang. Yesterday, at the end of a ministerial meeting in Brussels, the European Union and Canada condemned the treatment reserved by the Chinese authorities for the Uyghur minority. On September 1, during Wang Yi's visit to Berlin, the German government demanded China allow international observers to enter Xinjiang.
The US has also intensified its attacks on Beijing's leadership. On September 8, the Trump administration said the United States intend to ban imports of cotton and tomatoes - two of China's top export goods - from Xinjiang. Washington claims that they are produced thanks to the exploitation of Uyghur internees.
Due to the abuses against the Uighur people, the US government has already called on US companies to cut ties with their suppliers in Xinjiang. Nike and Apple, which have strong interests in the autonomous region, have opened an investigation into the employment of Uyghur workers and other local minorities.

Well chinese government will say the same thing in coming years that we are killing terrorist only turkey is taking steps against china and china wants Turke as their friend just in order to kill these uighurs or to send them in re education camps

Here is another source for the news that Chinese Communist Party is mocking India after cancelling drug supply flights to India as well as increasing the prices of drug precursor APIs and medical supplies as shown in my post above:

Grim Image of India Prompts Debate Over China’s Swaggering Propaganda
An official social media post contrasting Beijing’s successes with its neighbor’s coronavirus woes drew a backlash from some, who called it callous.

Even in China, where propaganda has become increasingly pugnacious, the display was jarring: a photograph of a Chinese rocket poised to blast into space juxtaposed with a cremation pyre in India, which is overwhelmed by the coronavirus. “Chinese ignition versus Indian ignition,” the title read.
The image was quickly taken down by the Communist Party-run news service that posted it. But it has lingered as a provocative example of a broader theme running through China’s state-run media: Official channels and online outlets often celebrate the country’s success in curbing coronavirus infections, while highlighting the failings of others. Other comparisons in recent months include depicting crowds of shoppers or jubilant partygoers in China versus desolate streets and anti-lockdown protests abroad.
The example contrasting China with India was posted on Saturday on Weibo, a popular social media service, by a news service of the ruling party’s powerful law-and-order commission. The post drew a backlash from internet users who called it callous, and it was taken down on the same day.
But it has kindled debate in China about attitudes toward India, and the tensions between Beijing’s nationalist rhetoric at home and its efforts to promote a humbler, more humane image abroad.

The controversy created an unusual rift between two of China’s most voluble nationalist media pundits. Hu Xijin, the chief editor of The Global Times, an influential party newspaper, condemned the post for damaging China’s standing in India, while Shen Yi, an academic in Shanghai, derided critics with a coarse term that means something like “pearl clutchers.”

“Can so-called expressions of sympathy for India achieve the anticipated outcome?” Mr. Shen said in one of his online responses to Mr. Hu. China, he suggested, should be more relaxed about flexing its political muscle. “Where can an 800-pound gorilla sleep?” he wrote. “Wherever it wants to.”

Chinese leaders have expressed sympathy and offered medical help to India, and the controversy may soon pass. But it has exposed how swaggering Chinese propaganda can collide with Beijing’s efforts to make friends abroad.
“You’ve had this growing tension between internal and external messaging,” said Mareike Ohlberg, a senior fellow in the Asia Program at the German Marshall Fund in Berlin who studies Chinese propaganda. “They have an increasing number of interests internationally, but ultimately what it boils down to is that your primary target audience still lives at home.”

The Chinese news outlet that put out the image is among a plethora of party-backed media operations that have stepped up efforts to promote government policies, burnish the image of the top leader Xi Jinping, and hit back against foreign critics of the Communist Party.
In principle, the online operations answer to the Communist Party’s Department of Propaganda and its legions of censors. In practice, the outlets may buck at constraints as they compete to demonstrate their dedication and influence, Ms. Ohlberg said. The demand for images and reports that draw a big public following “incentivizes people to put out messages that grab attention rather than smooth things over diplomatically,” she said.
Officials at the Chinese Foreign Ministry have also increasingly put out tweets, social media posts and speeches that vigorously defend Beijing, especially against Western criticisms of the government’s draconian policies in the far western region of Xinjiang and the crackdown in Hong Kong. This combative style, widely described as “wolf warrior” diplomacy, has won praise at home, but drawn anger abroad.
In France, the Foreign Ministry summoned the Chinese ambassador to Paris in April last year after his embassy’s website wrote that French nurses had abandoned residents in nursing homes, a claim the government denied.

In Australia, Prime Minister Scott Morrison held a news conference late last year to demand an apology from China after Zhao Lijian, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman, posted a doctored image on Twitter that depicted an Australian soldier holding a knife to the throat of an Afghan child.

India and China also exchanged bitter criticisms last year after their troops fought on a disputed border, leading to deaths of soldiers on both sides. But Mr. Xi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India quickly doused those tensions, and last week, Mr. Xi expressed condolences over India’s latest outbreak. China has recently offered to send medical support, including speeding up orders of oxygen equipment.

Despite the friendly diplomatic gestures, India is widely regarded in China as an example of the flaws of democratic systems, said Zhiqun Zhu, a professor at Bucknell University in Pennsylvania who has studied China’s “wolf warrior” diplomats.
India’s image as a poorer, unruly country was sometimes used in China to “defend a more centralized and authoritarian rule,” he wrote by email. He added, “Many Chinese believe that India has joined the West to counter China’s rise in recent years.”
Under normal circumstances, the Chinese social media post would have provoked public anger in India. But many Indians are preoccupied with the crisis, said Madhurima Nundy, assistant director of the Institute of Chinese Studies in Delhi who is an expert on public health.
“There is too much happening now in India which is distressing, so the primary anger is directed towards the government” in Delhi, Dr. Nundy said. “The anger and distrust that emerged last year against China, because of Covid and compounded by border tensions, has dissipated in light of the present crisis.”
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) gave this bioweapon virus (created in Wuhan Institute of Virology as I have given evidence for above) to India, then cancelled the airline flights carrying medical supplies and drug precursors, causing delays and bottlenecks and more deaths in India, and also raised the prices of drug precursors China usually exports to India at far lower prices, leading to even more deaths in India. And then the CCP enjoys mocking India.
