So why isn't China opening up investigations into the same on Boeing & Airbus. After all the US has pretty much prohibited Chinese solar panels & EVs from being sold in the US. The EU has followed suit by opening up investigations into charges of CCP subsidising Chinese EV OEMs. What's preventing CCP from taking reciprocal action?
Airbus and Boeing did received massive subsidies from their governments too through military contracts and research grants and zero interest loans.

If COMAC takes complete demand in China alone, it would drive growth for decades. It is a question of whether EU wants Airbus to remain relevant in China. I think more than likely it does want to remain in the world's largest market :)
What's EU desiring Airbus to be relevant in China got to do with COMAC receiving airworthy certification from the EU or even the FAA in the US ? 😊

Are you saying CCP is doing Airbus a favor by permitting them to operate in China? Since when is the CCP known for such displays of large heartedness? Pray do tell.😉

At this point China's the world best nation in terms of robotics ML & AI. Far far ahead of Japan, RoK, Taiwan, the US or even Germany.

It's human makeup + AI rendered.

The restaurant and hotel robots are really popular here:

To think CCP had thousands of years & generations of strategists to draw upon from Sun Tzu to Zhuge Liang downwards & what do they do? They go & arm two rogue states in the belief that it would keep their rivals in check. What happens then? Those rivals much more technologically advanced then go on to develop their own nuclear weapons.

How's that going to help China take Taiwan when the late Japanese PM Shinzo Abe openly declared that Japan will come to Taiwan's aid if China invades . And if Japan steps in can the US be far behind? Brilliant tactics here from the CCP. Only the CCP could come up with such an original plan.

A new subject to talk about?

The Chinese GDP numbers and their other economic data is highly factitious. It is not the truth. In the past a few economists and analysts have tried to determine the truth but are discouraged by the Chinese so much so that they give up the project about the truth about the economy data. They have been withholding the truth since they became friendly with America. They have a tremendous debt of $50 trillion (again not sure), their real estate has close to a trillion dollars in assets sitting as waste. Their high speed network has debt of $900 billion debt and they are still building this network to show off. Again the a trillion dollar road network they built abroad as ‘one road‘ is in disarray. They loaned the money to spend but unable to complete it hence no chance it becoming operational or loan recovery Etc. Since the Covid of 2022, a lot of capital has taken flight which makes the industry loose orders and are cash short.

The only thing which is certain is that their export market. That numbers cannot be lied to. Hence these are accurate enough (I believe).

A debate in this forum is invited to offer opinions on the state of their economy.

Any opinions?

This leftover male & Chinese women seeking AI boyfriends is much more serious than the world thought it was. At this rate everytime Chinese males travel abroad those countries will end up confining all females to their homes.

Alternatively Chinese males could end up with escorts like the kind you see in CCP China preventing Chinese males interacting with local females.

Its either these or one fine day in some remote country like Afghanistan where Chinese males try stunts like this, they'd be disappeared.

It's an economic issue,

Men from more affluent areas go to less affluent areas to find marriage partners.

Can you keep building houses to "show off"?

You cannot build anything if you do not have the money in the first place. China is building out HSR to 75km because its economy has the money :)

And at the same time, that economy also has the money to start an airliners and aircraft engines industry, build out the EV eco system and embarked on the world largest nuclear power program.

If your economy had real money you too can afford these things ;)
