Except the Monorail in Wuhan is not Magnetic Levitation but monorail running at 60 kmph.

Besides I don't think you know the definition of Levitation unless in China levitation also includes being suspended from the top.

Finally MAGLEV only makes sense at super HSR speeds meaning 500 + kmph given the tremendous amounts required to build up Infrastructure to run MAGLEV on . It doesn't make sense otherwise as in to run MAGLEV at conventional speeds .

This was the cost per km as well as the cumulative cost to build the first MAGLEV line in China way back in 2004.

As far as operating a MAGLEV by running a sky train suspended from rails above , I fail to see why it should be done unless it's a vanity project & we all know the CCP loves vanity projects to show off to the world & tell its slaves of the world's reaction thus building up a narrative why having the CCP rule over its slaves is a good thing.

Besides I'd take the costs shown there with a fistful of salt. I'd believe it only when CCP builds up the MAGLEV rail lines to be on par with the HSR lines covering some 42,000 kms to show us how economical it is.

The Harbin Ice Festival is like China -- it is economically viable and sound otherwise where would the money to built it every year come from?
