This is what Netherlands has achieved. How come an innovative country like China not copied , ooops so sorry , not innovated something like this ? Why do you need to depend on the gwailou for essential food stuff & pork ?



Why isn't China producing hydrogen in massive quantities to rid itself of dependencies on Russia or the Middle East . I mean surely you'd get more returns on investment on hydrogen than on HSR or building ghost cities.

That's not what I meant . I asked why's China in spite of being a developed country which until recently was food sufficient without importing it blessed as it is with excellent river systems & soil is now a net importer of food .

Further , why hasn't it innovated in agriculture like it did whatever it did in EV , Solar , wind turbines etc & if it couldn't why didn't it launch a Xu Yanjun style operation against Netherlands ? Why's agriculture so low in CCP's priorities ? This could prove fatal when you move to invade Taiwan.

I thought you guys were claiming China's loaded with money . Hell you've lent to construction giants like Evergrande billions of USD as loans & you can't spare a few billions for agriculture. I'm beginning to suspect all those reports of Chinese rivers , water bodies , ground water sources & aquifers being heavily polluted are indeed true.

That's more than 3 months ago chang. People in India are very price sensitive . No government can afford to see a runaway inflation in food stuff. All such issues don't last for more than a month. If they do , the government will be voted out.
