After 300km drive in gobi desert, Now we finally arrived in Mangya. It is one of the most remote cities in China, the closest other city, Ruoqiang, is located 350 kilometres (220 mi) away. In 2018 it had a population of 63,000.

The Mangya is such tiny town, with only 60000 people, but the town still have a morden airport, it uses ARJ21 plane for short range transportation. Actually, the ARJ21 is the perfect plane for western between small cities.

Now after passed through the police check point, we are officially entered in Xinjiang.

Our destination is Ruoqiang county, it's the biggest county in China, it covers an area of 198,318 square kilometres (76,571 sq mi) (about twice the size of Zhejiang province and similar to Kyrgyzstan or Senegal), making it the largest county-level division in the country.

India today has a poverty rate more than double that of 2019. Inflation has always been a problem so the population can afford even less. Unemployment has always been a problem with a particularly Indian phenomenom of "jobless growth" -- a nominally growing economy that produces little jobs so consumption is exceptionally low. This is the main reason why China with the same population consumes as much as 10 to 20 times more in a lot of categories.

FDI is actually down when ASEAN is getting the lion's share of China plus One corporate strategy. Same with trade which had collapsed in late 2022 and 2023 though that is part of the global recession.

This is not a healthy economy to do business with. Especially with the poverty rate and high inflation.

Just do a simple math. China produced twice food than India, but still import lots of wheat, salmons, meat, bxxf, wine, lobster,fruits from USA, Brazil, Agentina ...

India only made 1/2 food compares China, but still one of biggest food exporters. There must be serious problem on their food distribution system.

I think this is the main reason they have extremely low ranking on hunger index.

Plus, i don't want to be racial, but lack of food and protein would be the reason of that famouse IQ map indicated.

This is not a food distribution problem but a purchasing power problem of the local population.

China's population consumes every bit of food it produces (even though it produces more than THREE TIMES more agricultural products than India.) And has to import food on top of that.

Basically, Indians cannot afford one-third of the food that China consumes and therefore its farmers are forced to find wealthier markets to export food overseas.

India has an inflation problem unlike China which make purchasing everything, including food, a major issue.

So this has nothing to do with distribution. It is a simple purchasing power or poverty issue.

It is admirable but it seems you are unable to feed yourself with India being ranked alongside the countries with the most hunger.
