“There have been instances of flash flooding in the north east before particularly in the Brahmaputra where th Chinese have released waters causing flash floods in India & Bangladesh. ”

What I'm interested in is how China released waters in 2018?

Haven't the Chinese built dams on the Yarlung Tsampo ? When you aren't even aware of the basics why're you intent on coming out here to make a fool of yourself Chang & wasting my time ? How old did you say you are ?

Thanks for your link, both countries have built quite a few hydropower stations so it will be safer. Hydropower stations are the best investment in flood protection.

So you should say: Thank you, hydropower station, avoiding more floods

You seem to be a complete idiot. The issue was the Chinese discharging waters from their dams without warning resulting in flash floods. Go back to the beginning of our discussions.

:
An alert has been sounded in three Siang districts of Arunachal Pradesh and in Upper Assam after China informed India that the water level of the Tsangpo river was rising.

Yes , that's now but in the past there have been instances where they haven't informed us . There's no guarantee going ahead that China would continue to intimate us everytime it releases waters. At least both the Indian & Bangladeshi sides don't trust them to do so .

So the three countries should strengthen their ties

How a can an economy that Indians say is losing money everywhere -- ghost cities, HSR, EVs, etc. -- afford so many dams in hard to reach places! Why is your thinking so magical!

Beats me . Why don't you explain it to us like you did last time where you declared that CCP could keep printing renmenbis without worrying about inflation . It's called Voodoo economics & it always ends disastrously viz the former Soviet Union.

This is trust in the real world. It has a real value that can be measured ;)

Is trade a function od trust or of necessity ? I may not trust you in the least but that doesn't prevent me from trading with you . Where does MSS come up with such simplistic infantile thinking ? I mean are you insulting my intelligence or revealing yours .

I never buy anything from a store I don't trust. My money is too hard earned to risk ;)

It is the same for people and nations in the real world.

Your idea of "trust" is too magical and has no real value that could be measured in a real way.

This is China's inflation rate:

This is China's wage growth, outpaced only by Vietnam:

China's wage growth is 4% while its inflation is 0.10%. In China, people are able to enjoy wages that outpace inflation. Hence, the high volume purchases of cars, beer, air conditioners, movie tickets and $2000 handbags.

In countries where wages grow 3.6% while inflation runs at 7.80% -- well, they need to stop exports of lucrative items like rice to tame inflation.

You will if you didn't have a choice except you'd be very careful about it . For eg - does the US trust China & vice versa ? No . Do they trade ? Of course they do .

I'm not sure you understand complex diplomatic & geopolitical phenomena . Then again why should it be surprising considering your track record here for no brainer comments.

Sure inflation is non existent in China even as wages rise but the unemployment data for 21-41 yrs has not been published in months as of now . Are Chinese paying their mortgage for apartments they haven't received given according to you they're loaded with Money . No they aren't which adds to the woes of groups like Evergrande.

Just a few posts ago you admitted that most of the EVs mfgd & dumped in junkyards were on account of internet car sharing companies shutting down due to lack of funds whereas those cars already had their subsidies paid for . Ditto for your export figures for EVs abroad especially into the EU where as of now they've launched an investigation into the CCP practice of subsidising your EVs. Yet everything's good. 😉
