Tesla is the only profitable EV company.
Chinese carmaker BYD posted a 204.68% jump in profit in the first half of the year driven by record deliveries. Net profit in the first six months rose 204.68% to 10.95 billion yuan ($1.50 billion), as compared to 3.6 billion yuan a year earlier.

Joke on the housing crisis in China on weibo

On a visit to China , Xi Jinping asks his guest French President Macron -

Xi - What is the average salary of a French worker ?
Macron - 5000 Euros

Xi - What is the average rent of an appartment in France ?
Macron - 1000 Euros

Xi - What do the French do with the balance 4000 Euros ?
Macron - None of my business.

Now it's Macron's turn to ask Xi -

Macron - What's the average salary of a Chinese worker ?

Xi - approximately 5000 Euros if you convert Renmenbis to Euros .

Macron - what's the average mortgage per month payout on the appartments these workers have taken ?

Xi - 10000 Euros

Macron - Where does the balance 5000 Euros come from ?

Xi - none of my business .

In Weibo, there is a account from a Chinese student in Nehru university, he said he is the only collage student in India now, since the GOI this year only gave visa to one Chinese.

I believe in my citiy, any university has 200 to 300 students from India.
These students are risking their career. According to Indian medical board exam results, not even 10% of the students clear the qualification exam which is a must to practice in India. If these idiots are still going for chinese education then they are not practicing in India or illegally practicing as doctors in hard to find areas.

Of course there will be profits. Buy your death has compromised on safety to sell its cars. 8-10 BYD cars on average catch fire in China every day. Profiting over your death should be BYD’s punchline

Tesla is the only profitable EV company.
Only profitable now. If you add up all the losses they have suffered so far, I don’t know if their profits have overcome all those losses. But Tesla and now Rivian appear to be the most viable EV companies in Amreeka. The other thing is hybrid plug-ins are getting popular there. So, all electric vehicle sales will continue to be only a small portion of North Amreeka sales. Amreeki love to drive around their vast country and you just cannot setup charging infrastructure everywhere in a giant country like the US or Canada. Plus the electricity grid needs to be overhauled which needs hundreds of billions in investment.
EVs are not a viable technology in countries where a lot of investment needs to be made to get the electric grids stabilized when large number of EV cars are running on the roads . I prefer hybrid plug ins with electric or hydrogen combining with petrol or diesel. Also, lithium mining is massively polluting and affects the land rights of native tribes all over the world.

Mr. Tiger, the Indian expert,

is on his way
Lol. I have the @SexyChineseLady bot on permanent ignore. This bot has a lower IQ than a microbe.
We have already established that rankings are totally gamed. The failure of US News ranking and corruption in World Bank’s ease of business ranking clearly tell us that these manipulated rankings are useless in achieving real success. Nobel prizes are another area of intellectual corruption. Most of the Nobel prize winners were able to do so because of research funded by US government grants. It is another corruption story that these elite institutions have captured most of the US government grants or poach researchers from moderate schools that are grant funded and bring them to their elite campuses in hopes of controlling grant moneys and ultimate nobles. It has nothing to do with these published rankings. Most of it is unscientific or outright fraudulent.

Which means ur education system don't provide affordable opportunities to ur kids who want to study. And best of ur doctors are looted by western nations.

So it's the problem of ur education system, not ours.

There is some truth to this. Hence the government scaled up medical seats 100x. The prof losing doctors to the west - that cannot be prevented as top surgeons in Amreeka hospitals get paid in the millions of dollars every year. Even average salaries for surgeons and other high end doctors are $500,000. It is a life changing thing. No one can compete with American money for doctors, not even the other G7 countries.
‘The good news is many of these Amreekans Indian doctors return to India and setup massive hospital chains. In a way, it pays off.
Here are some giant, world class hospitals/medical schools in India:

Even bigger ones are being built. So number of beds, hospitals, medical colleges are not the problem here. Pe who should not be doing medicine funding short cuts to do medicine is the problem here.

Vehicles are China's third largest export segments and that is before the massive jump this year -- only electronics and machinery are bigger:

Not just autos but other segments of China's transportation industrial base are growing too!

Look at the sheer size of the auto graveyard at Guangdong & try to imagine the sheer wastage as well as the scale of the con CCP is unleashing on the world.

;) They are present in every country with a viable car industry.

View attachment 225077

They are not present in Uganda, Haiti or maybe India so good for you! :)
Those cars are scrap whereas in the video I've linked it's clearly mentioned that those cars are in working condition & were built solely to avail of subsidies & were not for sale . 😉

Didn't I ask you not to use Baidu translate for subtitles ? 😉
