Tesla continues to be the best selling brand in Europe, but Volkswagen is recovering

Some 234,000 plugin vehicles were registered in July in Europe — which is +48% year over year (YoY), the market’s highest growth since August 2021. Unfortunately, the overall market also grew fast, +17%, as it is finally recovering from a couple of bad years.

In February 2017, the Chinese car company JAC reported that its arrival in Mexico would be led by Carlos Slim. Through Giant Motors, a firm whose majority partner is the Mexican firm Inbursa.

On that date, Giant Motors reported that the Chinese cars would be manufactured in Mexican territory, particularly in a plant located in Sahagún, Hidalgo, near where the company in which Slim has investments manufactures cars from the Chinese brand FAW.

The new industrial complex involved an investment of 4.4 billion pesos, of which Inbursa, Slim's financial arm, would contribute half, according to El Financiero.

One of the first objectives of JAC Motors México was to produce 40 thousand vehicles per year, with an initial stage of 10 thousand units every 12 months. Another of the first goals of the Chinese brand in Mexico had to do with the marketing strategy, since they announced the opening of JAC agencies in Mexico.

What is the cheapest electric car in Mexico?
The supply of this type of vehicles has grown slowly in our country; However, there are currently more than 20 models available in Mexico.

Here are some of the most economical models:

Renault Twizy: Available from 343 thousand pesos.
JAC E 10X: Available from 430 thousand pesos. (Chinese car built in partnershp with Mexican company)
Zacua MX3: Available from 499 thousand pesos. (mexican brand, with some french technology)

However, other names that are perhaps less known – for now – will also be part of an electrified future in the country, as is the case of Bravo Motor Company, BMC. This is an Argentine company, based in California (USA), which will develop an electric vehicle factory in Minas Gerais in partnership with another giant in the sector, Rockewell Automation.

this news is not new.

Chief Executive Tim Cook signed an undisclosed agreement in 2016 promising Beijing $275 billion of investment in the country over five years in exchange for relaxing pressure on its business, according to a report published on Tuesday.

This low IQ Chinese dumbshit doesn't understand that Speed tests take time to stabilize.
Real speed was only 340 mbps not 2300 mbps.

Just like Indian understand and communicate better than Chinese on Pakistan, China and Vietnam's relationship is more complicated than your thoughts. China invested lots of companies and infrastructures in Vietnam, and have huge trade sueplus on trade with it.

My parents bought a summer cottage in Fang Chen Gang City, just 50km aways to the Vietnam border, before the covid we would very easily go Vietnam, and many Vietnamese are working in China.

Vietnam custom on border.

Vietnamese signs on Chinese street
border street.

The northern Vietnamese and southern have different feeling on China, and even northern viet southern viet don't like each other. The northern Vietnamese hated to be treated as Southeast asia people, they label themselves same as China, Japan, Korea, the east asia family.

I had a girlfriend when i was in EU, her family escaped from Sigon city before 1975, they don't like northern Vietnamese at all.

Currently, Chinese gaming, apps, dramas gained huge influence in Vietnam.
It is nothing like what you stated, southern vietnamese do not hate northerners or vice versa, they will kick your ass back to China if you say this in Vietnam like they did in the war....if that were the case they would not have fought so hard against US/UN. That is like saying south indians don't like north Indians and vice versa, this is not the case at all and it is no different from someone in Guangzhou hating someone from Beijing as you guys force Mandarin down their throat.....what is true is people from HK, Taiwan do hate mainlanders not to mention Tibetans and others....every Vietnamese that I met in Vietnam and outside did not care for China or Chinese but they do acknowledge in North about Chinese influence and they do acknowledge Hindu influence in Central Vietnam...as for chinese dramas, well this cancer of current generation having no brains is everywhere....once a chic forced me to watch korean and chinese drama, I could not stand for 30 mins to watch the lady bois nor the propaganda, its like Chinese trying to show current technology 1000 years ago, not to mention women doctors, martial artists and so on in hierarchial society that does not even tolerate it today.....you can't escape cheap propaganda...sorry boss stay away from chic's with any sort of drama addiction especially east asian crap shows

1. I didn't use "hate" between south and north people, the younger generation would be OK; for 40+ people they don't like each other, since their parents were living in different systems, some of them are still westerns' followers. I had girlfriend when i was in Europe, who familiy were refugees from Saigon, most oversea Vietnamese hate it to be called HCM city.

2. Like I don't pretend how well i know about Pakistan, since you Indian have better connections on language and culture with them. I don't want to debate on your POV of Vietnam and the culture influence from East Asia. The understanding would be different between a tourist and a neighbor.

This is not good, already loud and obnoxious chinese get to ruin other passengers space...hope this does not catch on outside China.
I still didn't figure out how Huawei did it, the system only has 3 satellites at 36000km orbit, not as Musk's starlinks with 1000s+ on 500km low orbit.

The Mate 60 pro has no antenna compare to dedicated satellite phone, how would it to decode singals with such low density, It's must be 1/100 signal than starlinks.

This is even more amazing feature than Kirin 900s chip.

Calling from an airliner with Mate 60 Pro!
After the breakthrough on 7nm processes, Huawei now also bringing chip solutions on EV industry.
It brings the CPU for EVs, the 9610A.

Each EV has around 500-15000 chips, there are huge market spaces for all Chinese chip makers.

This is called integrated supply chain, from batteries to chips. Not 100 million population class of developing nation would compete.

There are also the Ascend AI chips and Kunpeng chips for servers. Both are massive in China's data centers. Huawei's solution are integrated from top to bottom -- just like China's semicon's industry.

There are Taiwanese and Koreans semicon insiders who say TSMC and Samsung will have more five years before a precipitous decline. You cannot lose access to 60% of the world's market -- yes, China buys more than half the world's chips -- and hope to stay in the lead.

What allowed them to stay ahead in the market is they have EUV and China doesn't. That won't be the case in no more than five years. Prototypes are already testing this year. Many more next year. Possible production machines end of next year or second year. Mass production of EUVs in third year. Sub 5nm by fifth meaning China will have essentially caught up. But that is only silicon.

China has major leads in photonics, quantum and graphene chips. Those will hit the chips industry like EVs have hit the car industry :)
