From now onwards the only constant will be decrease in exports. What remains to be seen is when will Vietnamese exports to the US come down , where Chinese industrialists have shifted in droves?

Looks like it will happen sooner than everybody thinks.

I hope Vietnam still remembers the brutality committed by US?UN plus French before that.....although they need to capitalize but not by forgetting the history. Just monstrous and unbelievable what they did and Vietnam does a good job highlighting it in their museums

Ho Chi Minh had declared that after the war against US was completed , they had to seek peace with the US as the eternal enemy of the Vietnamese people was is & would be China.

It helps to read a bit more on these topics for what you normally perceive may not be the case, counter intuitively.

HCM can claim whatever he wants, millions of Vietnamese suffered, its generational suffering with use of chemical weapons. I have been there and its eye watering, people need to remember their past regardless of what government does. Just like us with Anglos and Islamic invaders and teach their kids to make sure nonsense philosophies and whitewashing does not creep through at the cost of ancestors sacrifices....reading is good but you need to digest too

In the event the Vietnamese leadership is more inclined to follow Ho Chi Minh's maxims than yours.

I don't care who their government follows, only thing I care is how majority of individuals form opinion in a society. Vietnamese earn my respect just for that fact that they fought back and kicked the invaders out....learn to digest before you go on crusades responding to every post, my point was meant at their society and not whether they partner with US or China or someone else. Governments have to do what they have to do....individuals have their own duties too at a personal level.

Is this your last post or do I have the privilege of more of your unwanted attention with uninformed emotional rants & not much in the form of political or strategic sense ?

NYT: not only EVs, but also legacy autos are flooding to the world.

Plus it also stimulated ship industry making roll-roll ships 24*7

...

Chinese automakers have leaped to dominance in Russia since war began in Ukraine, transporting cars by train. The companies have also captured large shares of markets in Southeast Asia, Australia, South America and Mexico. With lingering Trump-era tariffs holding back sales to the United States, China’s automakers are preparing a big push into Europe — once they have enough ships.

Shipyards along the Yangtze River are building a fleet of car-carrying ships that act as giant floating parking lots, capable of carrying 5,000 or more cars at a time.

Since cheap materials, energy, and almost 0 interest loan from government support, Chinese auto is 50% cheaper other others with similar configurations, after asking the friends from EU.

It's really smart that China built Europe-Sino railway system with two built lines around 10 yrs ago, now they are full of batteries, autos, solar panels sending to Europe.

Congratulations to China on behalf of all Indians including < 82 IQ Indians who're not here at the moment. We wish Chinese teach a lesson to gwailou. That's the only way the opening sentence of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms will come true.

Brace up , it's going to be a century of turmoil for the rest of the century. Like the 5 barbarians & 16 States period.

Tesla continues to be the best selling brand in Europe, but Volkswagen is recovering

Some 234,000 plugin vehicles were registered in July in Europe — which is +48% year over year (YoY), the market’s highest growth since August 2021. Unfortunately, the overall market also grew fast, +17%, as it is finally recovering from a couple of bad years.

Grupo Bimbo, the largest bakery company in the world, will double its fleet of electric vehicles to close the year with 2,508 units, from the 1,186 currently in circulation.

The new fleet of the Mexican company includes 1,001 Vekstar Stellar brand units
, 300 Jac brand E10x vehicles, 15 Scania brand trucks for self-service delivery and six BYD brand tractors.

The company reported in a statement that the 1,322 new electric vehicles, which will enter circulation in 2023, will avoid the emission of 6,600 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, equivalent to planting and maintaining 250,000 trees. The company aims to reduce its total direct and indirect carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.

Thank you CCP . For if the Chinese have reached so far, the gwailou will definitely react & help India get ahead faster . Which effectively means that 20-30 years China took to develop its SMC industry can be lessened to 12-15 years in India's case.

Thank you Great Helmsman 2.0. May your tribe increase.

Two things have ended for China after New Delhi G20, thanks to two master strokes by India.

- Belt and Rope route. IMEE corridor means debt trapping through BRI ends.
- Influence in African Union. AU is now in G20, thanks to Indian diplomacy. BRICS expanded and so did G20.

Follow on activities:
- G20 Development Bank (most likely headquartered) in India and in partnership with WB and IMF. There is a reason WB, ADB, and IMF were there. They will help setup the G20 development bank.
- India’s UPI digital payments will become more pervasive.

Clearly this is why Xi Jinping did not turn up. The CCP knew that these two major initiatives that effectively kill off Chinese influence in the world is going to be signed. This was pretty much an anti-China G20.
The Chinese premier lackey was ignored as well and was nowhere to be seen. Lol.

There is a war going on between BRICS and G20, many BRICS members in both groups. But given how the G20 is built and its members, it is G20 that may ultimately win, simply because of much larger capital and resources of this group. India and the US are going to be the drivers of G20.

CCP has been caught off guard. It did not expect India to step up this much. Whether to antagonize G20 or play by international (now G20) rules is now CCP’s biggest challenge.

I have to say India has checkmated China effectively, Aftr all we are known for Chess ♟️.

yes...i met a Vietnamese in clash of clan game. when he said he was Vietnamese. i said "we hv common enemy, only if he is not chinese Vietnamese"...he started cursing chinese on game comment. most of his comment changed in stars (****), due to game policy. but he didnt stopped untill he send me 10-12 lines. i think he was triggered coz i called him chinese Vietnamese 😜. he didnt say anything to india. so i think atleast young Vietnamese people, who hv no business or other relationship with china is very anti chinese. although my sample size is only one person 🤭🤭😂😂.

Just like Indian understand and communicate better than Chinese on Pakistan, China and Vietnam's relationship is more complicated than your thoughts. China invested lots of companies and infrastructures in Vietnam, and have huge trade sueplus on trade with it.

My parents bought a summer cottage in Fang Chen Gang City, just 50km aways to the Vietnam border, before the covid we would very easily go Vietnam, and many Vietnamese are working in China.

The northern Vietnamese and southern have different feeling on China, and even northern viet southern viet don't like each other. The northern Vietnamese hated to be treated as Southeast asia people, they label themselves same as China, Japan, Korea, the east asia family.

I had a girlfriend when i was in EU, her family escaped from Sigon city before 1975, they don't like northern Vietnamese at all.

Currently, Chinese gaming, apps, dramas gained huge influence in Vietnam.
