China Criticizes Japan for Military Radar Plans - ABC News
China criticized Japan on Monday for its plans to install a cutting-edge U.S. military radar system to monitor North Korean missile launches, saying that could impact regional stability and upset the strategic balance.

The X-band radar system would boost Japan's ability to track and intercept missiles from across the Sea of Japan. That was "not conducive to regional nuclear non-proliferation and stability, and will cause an extremely negative impact on the global strategic balance," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said.

"Some countries or blocs in the region, on the pretext of the North Korea nuclear threat, have unilaterally set up anti-missile systems or conduct bloc cooperation (with the United States)," Hong said.

China still remains scared by Japanese even some 70 years later, China's bullying tactics to its smaller neighbors is an example of its deep insecurity. Inspite of its big mouth claims of progress and what not China still remains a small minded nation eager to steal whatever it gets from its smaller neighbors"¦

What a hypocrite China is who criticizes Japan for modernization of its defensive capability while China itself goes on a building its offensive capabilities, this only show how fearful China is of Japan"¦ I reckon Japan is going to come out of its pacifist mode eventually to take care of this 21st century evil force.

Funny part is that China has same type of radar to track missiles and even tested mid course interceptor.

I find China has good reasons to be worried of Japan.

They are merely corresponding to the 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy' syndrome.

Japan can get to be real dangerous!

Though Chinese concern may be legit, I see no problem as long as Japan does not infringe on Chinese 'land borders':taunt:

Japan as a sovereign nation is entitled to defending their Nation.

Therefore, the Chinese concern is misplaced.

Let China totally disarm and then talk.

Will they do it?

Radars are a sideshow. China could blast the Japanese bond market to smithereens without ever firing a shot.

Another one-line non sequitur and attempt to distract from the subject.

Communist psyops are so tedious, but so are the Chinese people across the globe.

On DFI they are like a rash.

Well, if India can complain about Chinese infrastructure building up within its border, why can't Chinese express the same concerns?
