really which country said diaoyu is part of japan,. and japan has absolute rigth over it? any link?
Which country said that Machuria and Inner Mongolia are parts of China? Any links?

China has absolute rights over those reasons as recognised by international law despite Korean and Mongolian claims.

Likewise, Senkakus are recognised as Japanese territory despite PRC/ROC claims.
-They are not listed as disputed in any international forum such as UN
- They are covered under US/Japan defence treaty (Note that Kurils and Liancourt rocks are not)

The same Article 5 you appended!

It has to be read with political intelligence.

if what you said is true and US will help japan over these island, then whey the heck japan not making any bolder move to escalte the sitution,
Your frustrated anger as a Chinese shows.

Why should Japan take any military action?

It is good enough to tease China into military action to show them up for what they are - aggressive imperialists and expansionists.

The US will not come to Japan's defence till Japan is attacked. Article 5 if read politically intelligent.

No one said mach/mongolia is part of china, and even the government of korean/mongol don't claim machuria/inner mongolia is part of their country, only few ultra korean/mongolian nationlist think that way. you got few like that in any country.
the difference is both china/japan government claim the island, not just some ultra nationlism. and to this day i haven't found a source said any major country think china or japan has the right to the island. therefore its disputeble area, if there are alot japanese live on those area for the past 60yrs or more, then i would agree its part of japan, but because there is no inhabits on the island, its disputeble since both country has history record to back up its claim. in reality i think the island should belong to taiwan.

right and what the US reaction toward this incident, we stay out of it.
i'm not saying japan take military action. they could simply escalte by go ahead purchase the island, develop it, pump up the media says they have absolute right to it,etc etc that will get good reaction from china, there are many way to escalte the tension without using military force. they can provoke china to take next step, so why won't they if they know we will back them up. like i said, its you need to read it with political intelligence, instead you take every words literally. it just naive to think US will start a war with china for few lump of rocks.

i understand as an indian you want a war between US and china, so india can become the big dog in asia, but don't hold your breath. a war between these two will affect globally, and the economy of both country. someone must been high to think both countries will risk this much for few rocks.:p

Only goes onto show the difference in the maturity levels of respective governments.

The dumbassery that is confined to a lunatic fringe in Japan-Korea-Mongolia is mainstream in PRC, with active government support. I suppose it's not too difficult to imagine the mental age of those involved.

last time i check Skorean or mongolia government doesn't claim mahuria/inner mongolia, but the diaoyu/senku is claim by both china and japanese government.

japan doesn't not have absolute right to claim it nor does china, but like i said i think taiwan has more right to claim than either china/japan on these islands.

NO ccp can't put a lid on its population when everyone screaming war with jap.
Have war and don't scream.

Possible?

If so, go ahead.

You could do it to Vietnam on land as also in the SCS.

Do it to Japan!

Unfortunately for China, Japan is not a push over!

Not at all.

A fool can ever think that there can be a war.

One has to understand the realpolitik that is there.

China can scream and fanny adams they can do about it!

They can never dare go to war.

It will upset the world and all their economic pursuits elsewhere.

And Chinese love money more that anything else!

China will be a pariah!

Japanese Administer Senkakus..they don't claim it, they own it, they control it and this ownership is recognised by all countries in the world except PRC.

There is NO dispute except in the immature minds of the mainland Chinese.

I wonder if you re being deliberately obtuse or if it is I who's falling into the trap of engaing this futile coversation and help you accumulate your fortune 5 Maos at a time.

The only way China can claim the islands is by military force and capture it.

Should do it fast and end all these silly controversies.

Might after all is right, what ho?

Once again a self-indluging circuitous arguement. The only government to dispute Japanese ownership is the PRC (ROC does not count).

No world body recognises Chinese claims over Senkakus

No world body recognises those islands as anything but Japanese

No world body has made any official statement on those islands

US-Japan treaty includes Senkakus and acknowledges Japanese sovreignity over the islets and as being covered under the defence agreement.

PRC has no legal, historical, moral or geopolitical claim over a territory which it never occupied for even an instant.

Now bugger off to your hidey hole.

US aircraft carrier cruises disputed Asian seas - Yahoo! News

US aircraft carrier cruises disputed Asian seas

ON BOARD THE USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (AP) — A U.S. aircraft carrier group cruised through the disputed South China Sea on Saturday in a show of American power in waters that are fast becoming a focal point of Washington's strategic rivalry with Beijing.
Vietnamese security and government officials were flown onto the nuclear-powered USS George Washington ship, underlining the burgeoning military relationship between the former enemies. A small number of journalists were also invited to witness the display of maritime might in the oil-rich waters, which are home to islands disputed between China and the other smaller Asian nations facing the sea.
The visit will likely reassure Vietnam and the Philippines of American support but could annoy China, whose growing economic and naval strength is leading to a greater assertiveness in pressing its claims there. The United States is building closer economic and military alliances with Vietnam and other nations in the region as part of a "pivot" away from the Middle East to Asia, a shift in large part meant to counter rising Chinese influence.
The Vietnamese officials took photos of F-18 fighter jets taking off and landing on the ship's 1,000-foot- (305-meter-) long flight deck, met the captain and toured the hulking ship, which has more than 5,000 sailors on board.
The mission came a day after Beijing staged military exercises near islands in the nearby East China Sea it disputes with U.S ally Japan. Those tensions have flared in recent days.
China claims nearly all of the South China Sea, where the U.S. says it has a national interest in ensuring freedom of navigation in an area crossed by vital shipping lanes. Vietnam, the Philippines and several other Asian nations also claim parts of the sea. The disputes attracted little international interest until the late 1990s, when surveys indicated possible large oil reserves. American rivalry with China has given the disputes an extra dimension in recent years.
The U.S. Navy regularly patrols the Asia-Pacific region, conducting joint exercises with its allies and training in the strategic region. The trip by the George Washington off the coast of Vietnam is its third in as many years. A second aircraft carrier, the USS John C. Stennis, has also conducting operations in the western Pacific region recently, according to the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
Capt. Gregory Fenton said the mission was aimed in part at improving relations with Vietnam and ensuring the U.S. had free passage in the South China Sea.
China's military buildup, including the launch of its own carrier last year and rapid development of ballistic missiles and cyber warfare capabilities, could potentially crimp the U.S. forces' freedom to operate in the waters. The United States doesn't publicly take sides in the territorial disputes among China and its neighbors.
"It is our goal to see the region's nations figure out these tensions ... on their own, our role of that to date is to conduct freedom of navigation exercises within international waters," Fenton said in an interview on the bridge.
Although claimant countries have pledged to settle the territorial rifts peacefully, the disputes have erupted in violence in the past, including in 1988 when China and Vietnam clashed in the Spratly Islands in a confrontation that killed 64 Vietnamese soldiers. Many fear the disputes could become Asia's next flash point for armed conflict.
Vietnam is pleased to accept help from its one-time foe America as a hedge against its giant neighbor China, with which it also tries to maintain good relations.
Still, the Hanoi government reacted angrily to recent moves by Beijing to establish a garrison on one of the Paracel islands, which Vietnam claims. The United States also criticized the move by Beijing, earning it a rebuke from the government there.
"China will take this (cruise) as another expression by the United States of its desire to maintain regional domination," said Denny Roy, a senior fellow at the East-West Center in Hawaii. "The U.S also wants to send a message to the region that it is here for the long haul ... and that it wants to back up international law."
While most analysts believe military confrontation in the waters is highly unlikely anytime soon, they say tensions are likely to increase as China continues pressing its claims and building its navy.

The dispute has to be recognized by others to be called a dispute?

Here is a definition of dispute in the online dictionary-not taken from your fantasy world:

dispute-a disagreement or argument about something important
dispute - definition of dispute by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

Ever heard about the Dokdo dispute? I didnt hear you bickering about that. Double standard much?

BBC News - Profile: Dokdo/Takeshima islands

The US-Japan treaty includs the Senkaku islands in the scope of territories that would be defended based on a 1972 accord on returning Okinawa to Japanese control from U.S. control. However it by any means affects the legal status of the Senkaku islands.

Japan's Kyodo News says a U.S. Congressional Research Service report will come out soon that states the U.S. recognized only Japan's administration and not sovereignty over the Senkaku islands.
KBS WORLD

So now you can bugg off to your hidey hole. Since you dont even know the basics of the conflict.
Dont want be taken as a troll? Provide sources instead of your fantasy definition. And above all do your homework.

Exercise to protect China|Society|chinadaily.com.cn

Exercise to protect China

China on Friday held a large-scale drill simulating the PLA protecting Chinese administration ships disturbed by foreign ships in the East China Sea.
The drill comes amid a festering territorial dispute with Japan.
When asked about the exercises, the Foreign Ministry said on Friday that Beijing is determined to protect its territory and called on Japan to return to negotiations.
The exercise is likely a hard-line response from Beijing to a joint US-Japan drill targeting the Diaoyu Islands, experts and media have said.
Friday's drill involved all the major Chinese maritime forces, from warships to maritime patrol and fishery administration ships.
A fleet of 11 vessels and eight aircraft participated in the one-day drill. According to reports, the navy sent at least two missile destroyers as well as fighter planes and a hospital ship.
It was based on the scenario of the navy sending warships and aircraft to protect Chinese law enforcement ships damaged in deliberate collisions by foreign ships in the East China Sea.
The drill was announced by Xinhua News Agency late on Thursday.
China has previously sent maritime surveillance ships and fisheries patrol vessels to waters near the islands as the territorial row escalated.
On Tuesday, Japanese military aircraft spotted seven Chinese warships not far from the disputed islands. China said the ships were on a routine training mission.
Xinhua said patrol vessels from the fishery administration and the marine surveillance agencies have recently been stalked and harassed by foreign vessels while carrying out missions.
Hong Kong-based Wen Wei Po quoted a military critic as saying that the"high-profile notice" of Friday's drill is very rare as the PLA usually announces its exercises a few days after the actions finish.
It is deliberately showing China's law enforcement capabilities in the East China Sea, it said.
Xia Ziming, deputy head of the Directorate of Operations of the East China Sea Fleet headquarters, told China National Radio that this is the first time for the navy, maritime surveillance and fishery administration agencies to have a joint drill.
"It is the largest one in recent years," Xia said.
The Ministry of National Defense also posted reports high on its website, though it has yet to comment directly on the drill.
When asked about the exercise, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei on Friday gave no direct answer, but said the Chinese government"is resolute and determined to safeguard national territorial sovereignty".
Japan should be the one to take the responsibility for the escalating tensions, Hong said at a daily briefing.
"We hope the Japanese side can squarely face the realities, correct mistakes and come back to the track of resolving the Diaoyu Islands dispute through negotiations," Hong said.
Smooth coordination between military and civilian organs is the most prominent feature of this drill, Song Xiaojun, a military affairs commentator, told China Central Television.
"China hopes to solve maritime disputes through peaceful negotiations, while such peaceful means is actually based on our administrative bodies' and navy's capabilities to handle security issues," he said.
It's rare but important for the aircraft to join the"multi-dimension" drill as information sharing and coordination between vessels and aircraft should be improved, said Li Jie, a researcher from the Naval Military Studies Research Institute.
"Various law enforcement forces have to properly work together as maritime rights can hardly be safeguarded solely by the navy now," he said.
Feng Wei, an expert on Japanese studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, said the drill has sent a clear warning signal to Japan.
But Japan's sense of crisis might also grow in the face of China's soaring naval strength, he noted.
South Korea's Yonghap News Agency quoted an expert on foreign policies as saying that the drill is"obviously targeted at the US-Japan joint exercise" and exerting pressure on Japan.
The Friday drill has come on the eve of a joint military drill between Washington and Tokyo scheduled to start on Nov 5, which will involve the simulated retaking of a remote island from foreign forces.
This is the first time Japan and the US have had an"island retaking" drill on a Japanese offshore island.
In another move, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda on Oct 14 reviewed a major exercise marking the 60th anniversary of Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force, and was quoted saying that Japan faces"severe" challenges to its security.
Furthermore, Japan's Nippon Foundation on Friday announced it was abolishing an exchange program for field grade officers from the PLA and Japan's Self-Defense Forces that it started sponsoring in 2001.
The decision was made after the Chinese side asked to delay this year's activities due to the tensions.
Feng Wei from Fudan University said China-Japan military ties, which have been flagging in recent years, were further hampered by the cancellation.
China's exercise also takes place after dozens of Japanese parliamentary members, including two Cabinet ministers, visited the Yasukuni Shrine that honors Japan's war dead, including 14 Class-A war criminals.
Chinese media slammed the head of Japan's top opposition party Shinzo Abe for also going, calling his visit a provocation.
Tensions sharply rose between Beijing and Tokyo after the Japanese government last month"nationalized" some of the Diaoyu Islands.
The move took ties between the world's second- and third-largest economies to the chilliest moment in decades. Anti-Japan protests broke out across China and hurt sales of Japanese-made products.
