Am I missing something or is this only about $50m/year (2022-2026)? Pennies for the entire CAPFs (1,000,000 personnel?). I’m willing to bet the CAPEX for just 1 police department in Europe or the US with 10,000-20,000 personnel is about 50m

Still, even spent in India this is pitifully minuscule funding for modernisation, even $200m/year for modernisation seems insufficient for the entire CAPFs.

I agree but it is a start. They have been crying for CAPEX to replace their antiquated weapon systems. This is a start in the right direction. Question is can we sustain it?
