GEORGE FLOYD, THE NEW "DREYFUS CASE".
As Americans, you probably don't know about the Dreyfus Case (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreyfus_affair?wprov=sfla1). Yet it marked a turning point in French and European history.
•••••
In the 1890s, France was preparing for war against Germany. Alfred Dreyfus was a French officer of German origin and of Jewish faith. He was accused of spying for Germany and imprisoned by the French army.
At the beginning, the case was simple: a German spy had betrayed his country. But influential Jewish intellectuals mobilized significant resources to prove the spy's innocence. They financed hundreds of newspapers to attack the army and the judges, and they encouraged the celebrities of the time to take a stand in the case.
The case has totally divided the country... Some supported Dreyfus' innocence. Others saw him as a traitor.
In the end, it was the side that supported Dreyfus that won, thanks to the massive support of the press. And Dreyfus was pardoned and freed, thanks to media and corporate pressure.

This whole story is very well known in France, very main stream, because it marked the beginning of the power of the press and of celebrities or intellectuals, able to influence the future of the country.
But more than that, this affair marked an absolute upheaval in French politics: after the Dreyfus affair, it became completely impossible for the Catholic and nationalist French population to express their opinions. Discordant voices were censored or hunted down by the new intellectual elite that had emerged victorious from the Dreyfus Case.
This state of affairs, which began in 1890, has not changed, and France has been mired in this system for over 100 years. Any assertion of French nationalism has been limited since the Dreyfus Case, as a patriot is suspected of being anti-Semitic.

What does this have to do with George Floyd?
It seems that the turn that France took with Dreyfus is the same as the turn that America is taking with the George Floyd affair.
There will be a before and after George Floyd. In France, pressure from the elite led to the release of a probably guilty man. In the United States, the pressure of the elite is in the process of convicting a man who is probably innocent.
The immense means deployed to raise the tension in the country following this event are not insignificant. As in 1890, an intellectual elite is taking the public debate hostage, in order to influence it.
And the power they took during the Floyd affair, they will not let go. They will never let it go.
•••••
A new era is beginning for America, an era where American patriotism will be demonized in the name of anti-racism. Just as French patriotism has been slaughtered in the name of fighting anti-Semitism.
Alfred Dreyfus single-handedly turned the tables on France. George Floyd single-handedly turned the game around in America.

Nations need a founding myth. So do elites to establish their dominance in a lasting way.
The Dreyfus Case was the founding myth of the France we see today.
If the Floyd affair is a founding myth, ask yourself what system it will be the foundation of.
What will be the place of American WASPs in it? Of order? Of patriotism?
Good luck America.
